**A Day in the Life**
Enterprise Operations Insights (EOI) - Subject Matter Expert and Scrum Product Owner For Neuromodulation Marketing
This role partners with business stakeholders to understand and solve business problems.
Primarily they are responsible for building insights and analytics while providing subject matter expertise, technical knowledge, and analytic product ownership. They will create user workflows, analytics, and insights and bring them to life.
The role supports a new team (squad) within Enterprise Operations Insights (EOI) dedicated to the Neuromodulation operating unit within Medtronic. The mission of this role is to contribute to the building of INSIGHTS to drive best-in-class practices and tools supporting the Neuromodulation OU.
The role will also need to work hand in hand with other departments within Enterprise Operations Insights (EOI), including running daily scrum meetings with the Analytics Development Team and the Data Engineering Team to manage the creation and deployment of solutions that simplify our customers processes and generate insights that align with our customers goals. This role requires you to be the user of your tools and generate insights to share with the business.
This role needs to provide excellent customer service in a way that helps our stakeholders perform at their very best.

Qualifications
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ Requires a University Degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Marketing Analytics, Finance Analytics, and Salesforce Analytics with past responsibilities as a Product Owner in a Scrum environment.
+ Ability to influence decisions and drive projects to completion.
Nice to Have
+ SQL and Snowflake data model experience
+ Visualization experience such as PowerBI
+ PowerApps and Power Automate experience.

Job Description
In this role, you be on a team responsible for developing requirements, designing hardware and software, implementing, integrating, and commissioning solutions for simulation labs used for rapid prototyping as well as formal verification. This position requires collaboration with several engineering test and systems engineering groups. A strong foundation in electronic principles, schematics, and software coding and scripting, along with problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges, is required.
**The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP / CSP / Secret security clearance.**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. **Simulation Test Equipment Requirements Development:**
2. Develop requirements for open and closed hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulation test equipment ensuring traceability to system level requirements.
3. Develop test equipment V&V procedures.
4. **Simulation Test Equipment Design and Development:**
5. Develop high level designs for test systems including test stations and analog and digital circuits.
6. Create detailed electronic schematics and review layouts for circuit boards, selecting components and designing equipment test racks using a combination of COTS and custom equipment.
7. Develop conceptual models and engineering prototypes to test and evaluate the functionality of electronic circuits and test systems.
8. Create detailed designs for test stations including electrical design and basic mechanical design. Work with drafting group to document and review these designs.
9. Develop real-time control software for test stations using National Instruments LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI.
10. Develop and present Test Equipment Preliminary and Critical Design presentations at Design Reviews to internal customers.
11. Coordinate manufacture of test equipment.
12. Meet Project cost solution targets.
13. **Simulation Test Equipment Integration and Commissioning:**
14. Integrate simulation hardware and software ensuring compliance with test equipment requirements and compatibility with unit under test.
15. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
16. Execute formal V&V Plans and Procedures for Test Equipment, document results, and make recommendations for design improvements.
17. Train users on the usage of test software and hardware implementation.
18. Ensure regulatory compliance and meet internal customer expectations.
19. **Equipment Management:**
20. Collaborate with the Engineering support team to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve equipment downtime.
21. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
22. Work closely with systems engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electronic test systems with overall product designs.
23. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and product management teams to identify and formalize test requirements and specifications.
24. Collaborate with project leads from conception through production, working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
25. Ensure compliance to Ergonomic and Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
26. **Continuous Improvement:**
27. Identify opportunities for process improvements in simulation testing methodologies and techniques.
28. Stay informed about new testing technologies and industry trends to enhance testing capabilities.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical, aerospace engineering or science.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in test equipment design is desirable.
+ Experience in complex test setup designs and methodologies, ideally in a regulated industry such as aerospace or automotive.
**WE VALUE**
+ Knowledge of LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Python or other scripting languages.
+ Understanding the principles of systems engineering and requirements management.
+ Knowledge of aerospace environmental control systems.
+ Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
+ Familiarity with Real-Time systems, RT Linux, MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape is a plus.

**Job Summary**
The Advanced Applications Engineer based in Canada will provide advanced system training, design, deployment, programming, third-party integration, and troubleshooting for Q-SYS ecosystem solutions. This position involves extensive travel, primarily within the territory, to support channel partners and prospective users. The role focuses on reinforcing QSC's credibility in the Integrated Audio, Video, and Control community while providing high-level support and training across Canada.
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**
+ Design and Implementation: Collaborate with Territory Manager, channel partners, and end users to design Audio, Video, and Control solutions.
+ Training: Lead field training initiatives, develop and teach advanced training curriculum, and provide advanced-level seminars.
+ System Support: Perform onsite programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting for Q-SYS professional services.
+ Tradeshows and Presentations: Represent Q-SYS at trade shows and present technical topics.
+ Product Development Support: Influence product development by reporting use cases and customer requirements.
+ Internal Collaboration: Communicate product issues and customer needs to various internal divisions.
+ Mentorship: Mentor other Systems Application Engineers and participate as a subject matter expert.
+ Technical Demonstrations: Assist in building and programming technology demonstrations for trade shows.
**Skills and Minimum Experience Required**
+ Bachelor of Science in a technical/engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum 5 years in the professional audio-visual and control industry.
+ Ability to present technical topics in various settings.
+ Proficient in computer technologies, networked audio, video and control systems, DSP technology, and scripting languages like LUA.
+ Desirable certifications include third-party control integration (Extron, Crestron, AMX), CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, and IT certifications (CCNA, CCDA, Network+)

**What are your contributions to the team?**
+ Generate aerodynamic solutions using CFD software in support of Flight Sciences, Loads & Dynamics, Thermodynamics, and Systems requirements. Your role will also include the liaison of activities with these engineering groups.
+ Produce estimates of external pressure distributions, aerodynamic loads and stability derivatives for specific Bombardier products and validate these results with experimental data.
+ Develop complex CFD workflows applicable to aircraft designs, aircraft stability and control analysis, aerodynamic loads calculations or aero-structural multi-disciplinary optimization.
+ Contribute to the development of various tools for CFD results analysis.
+ Improve the efficiency of our numerical optimization algorithm by tuning input parameters and validate the new capabilities by optimizing various aircraft configurations.
+ Develop novel mesh generation, deformation and adaptation techniques, CAD-free and/or CAD-centered, compatible with in-house software and/or commercially available grid generation packages.
