Stenberg College seeks an organized, passionate, and relationship-driven *Registered Psychiatric Nursing (RPN)* leader to join our Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (RDPN) Leadership Team as *Clinical Practice Manager*.
* *Type*: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Remote)

* *Salary*: 125,000.00 Per year
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing clinical operations, ensuring the implementation of nursing best practices, and preparing students to deliver quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of the psychiatric nursing scope of practice and nursing regulation, along with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The Clinical Practice Manager will support students and faculty, and liaise with industry and clinical practice partners while also seeking to grow and develop our program’s presence as a leader in psychiatric nursing education.
*About our Program:*
The RDPN program is the only psychiatric nursing program in B.C. that is offered province-wide to 7 regions through a hybrid, blended delivery, 8-semester, 147 credit program. Students engage in synchronous and asynchronous learning through online theory courses, complete in-person lab simulation at one of our five regional lab spaces, and in-person clinical practice experiences that expose students to a variety of health status, across the life span, and with varying complexity.

*Requirements:*
* Active practicing registration (in good standing) with the BCCNM with a minimum of 5 full-time years of psychiatric nursing experience.
* Baccalaureate degree required; Master’s degree (completed or in progress) preferred. Leadership and/or Educator experience is preferred.
* Possess a solid understanding of various software applications and tools, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office, project management tools, and communication platforms.
* Occasional travel will be required.
*Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):*
*Faculty Recruitment, Orientation, Team Development*
* In cooperation with Talent Acquisition Team and Program Director, proactively recruits, hires, and orients new Clinical Practice Faculty
* Responsible for the development of a cohesive, trusting, and passionate nursing team reflecting the organizational and program mission, vision, and values.
* Evaluates the teaching and professional development of faculty through faculty performance reviews, host site and student feedback surveys and instructor check in meetings; identifies professional development needs and creates plans to further develop teaching and mentoring excellence in their team members.
* Stays current on effective teaching and learning practices, fosters these within the faculty and develops a plan for integrating them into clinical instruction activities.
* Regularly updates and provides resources to faculty that will support student success and satisfaction
*Student Success and Management*
* Facilitates Clinical Practice Prep sessions to inform students of expectations for each practical experience
* Oversees and manages all student-related Clinical Practice issues/concerns as per the Stenberg College Student and Clinical Practice Handbook’s policies and procedures.
* Works with faculty and Student Services Manager to monitor student outcomes, remediate concerns, and ensure early intervention and supports are provided to facilitate students' safe nursing practice and competency development
*Quality Clinical Practice Placements and Industry Partnership Maintenance*
* Ensures practice experience placements support students to meet entry-level competencies and the standards of practice through pre-placement site visits and host site regular check-ins
* Provides program orientations to industry partners, creates and maintains lines of communications, and responsive to partners need for timely support
* Reviews and responds to hose site feedback surveys ensuring adherence to Stenberg College’s Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Process
* In collaboration with the Clinical Practice team, ensures that Stenberg College’s RDPN program is in compliance with regulatory body requirements and is following the guidelines for regulatory reporting
*Administration*
* Reviews and updates clinical practice handbooks annually
* Collaborates with the RDPN Management Team in all Accreditation and Regulatory Reporting and is responsible for all clinical practice related responses
* In collaboration with HR, organizes all faculty contracting and scheduling.
* Confirms all clinical practice documentation is collected and stored according to Stenberg College and relevant regulatory bodies’ requirements
*Meetings*
* Attends and participates in virtual RDPN Leadership, Managers, and Clinical Practice Team meetings
* Regularly meets with the RDPN Management Team to identify and create program strategies and provide updates on progress
* Attends other meetings as required.
