Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead/Participate/Approve Customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) timing (Phased PPAP)
  • Ensures all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) requirements are known/tracked/adhered to using planned milestones
  • Review Government Approvals required and develop Inspection Standard
  • Leads Plant trials for Engineering changes, Tool Moves and New Program Launches
  • Lead problem solving for applicable customer quality concerns (customer specific reports: 8D, 7 Step, 5 Phase, Is/Is Not, 6 Panel, etc.)
  • Participate in Warranty reviews and analysis at customer center
  • Manages applicable new model launch field support to ensure effective containment and timely closure of issues

Advanced Internal Activities

  • Coordinate and participate in Internal/Supplier Drawing Reviews
  • Prepare and complete Control Plans, including 8 appendices for process control
  • Prepare and complete component Receiving Inspection Matrix and Instructions
  • Assist in Preparation and approval of Assembly Work Instructions
  • Develop Product Validation (PV) Plan (schedule) including reliability and confidence (R&C) requirements in accordance with Program timing
  • Develop, implement and supervise Launch Containment System (LCS) Ph 1, 2 & 3 (Process and dimensional Evaluation)
  • Participate in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) review and team sign off
  • Participate BILL of Material (BOM) review and sign off
  • Leads Engineering Deviation Request (EDR) process- status/follow-up/resolution
  • Facilitate supplier deviation requests (i.e. Supplier Request for Change Deviation SRCD's, EDR's) through closure with the supply base
  • Initiate and participate in Campaign Prevention reviews
  • Coordinate and participate in Early Supplier Involvement with Design and Purchasing
  • Adhere to all Platform Execution Process (PEP)/Program Planning requirements and expectations
  • Develop Customer attachment/contact point list
  • Coordinate and ensure signoff / concurrence of control plan / attachment point checklist in conjunction with Mistake Proof Evaluation Procedure
  • Review Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T), requirements (Finished Goods / Components)
  • Prepare and present Launch QE Summary Report
  • Develop Mapping including Critical Characteristics Tables
  • Participate in Document Linkage Review
  • Review lessons learned database
  • Establish Supplier PPAP timing and review/approve on time prior to Product Validation requirements (i.e. 1PP)
  • Supports pre-production builds

Testing

  • Conduct Test Fixture Verification - Vehicle alignment, review and signoff to verify sequence, setup, etc.
  • Ensure proper level test parts are built and delivered to test lab
  • Periodic review of in-process testing
  • Post test set-up and results signoff
  • Test Incident Report (TIR) response and resolution
  • Develop annual validation (RV) plan for designated programs
  • Leads TIR investigation, prepares 8D report and ensure timely closure of issues (DV, PV, RV)

Other

  • "A" level provides guidance for PQE's "B" and "C"
  • Train members of Advanced Operations team in specific quality disciplines as required
  • Participates in quality systems audits with customer and external auditors as required
  • Perform other duties as required

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Completion of post-secondary diploma/certificate.

Your duties will include setting teeth and processing complete dentures, partial dentures and implant supported dentures. Our ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in high-end esthetic cases and implant supported cases. The Advanced Denture Technician works closely with our dentists and clinics in a co-treatment relationship.

To ensure success in this position, you should have extensive knowledge of all dental technologies and use your expertise while creating a safe and pleasing environment and high-quality products and services.

Advanced Denture Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Set teeth for complete and partial dentures
  • Gingiva esthetic wax up (festooning)

Job Description

Osler’s advanced diagnostics program provides immunohistochemistry, and next generation sequencing, among other modalities to support diagnostic and clinical services It also provides biomarker support to a growing catchment within Ontario. The program draws professional support from MD-trained pathologists, integrating biomarker testing with diagnostic work.

The advanced diagnostics program has close ties with Osler’s Research Institute for Health Innovation, where the successful applicant will have ample opportunity to participate in or lead their own research. The advanced diagnostics program is also accredited with the European Masters of Molecular Pathology and is currently providing fellowship training for AP/GP residents in molecular pathology.

Osler is among the first hospitals in Canada to provide plasma-based next-generation sequencing (liquid biopsy) to support cancer care and management of patients with solid tumors. Participation in this program is expected of the successful applicant. Osler’s advanced diagnostics program closely supports a regionally renowned cancer program, including one of the top recruiting clinical trials programs in the country.

The Department of Laboratory Medicine is seeking one full-time pathologist to join the Advanced Diagnostics program based at Brampton Civic Hospital. The successful candidate will join a hybrid staffing model within advanced diagnostics and anatomic pathology, working in collaboration with subspecialists across pathology disciplines.

The Laboratory Medicine program at Osler is a collaborative, multidisciplinary team comprising anatomic pathologists, hematopathologists, medical microbiologists and clinical biochemists. The successful applicant will be cross-functional in advanced diagnostics and anatomic pathology.

This role will focus on expanding Osler’s advanced molecular diagnostics program, with particular emphasis biomarker testing, liquid biopsy, next-generation sequencing, immunohistochemistry, digital pathology and diagnostic histomorphology. Remuneration will be in accordance with the Uniform Minimum Level of Compensation for Pathologists in Ontario.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario with certification in Anatomic Pathology, Anatomic or General Pathology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or a recognized equivalent
  • Subspecialty interest in a field of surgical pathology would be an asset, including head and neck, thyroid or cytopathology; however, any subspecialty interests will be considered
  • Applicants should have demonstrated interest in molecular diagnostics, including familiarity with next generation sequencing technologies, assay interpretation and development, and integration of molecular findings into clinical care
  • Prior involvement in molecular case sign-out, assay validation or participation in precision oncology programs, or formal fellowship training, will be considered strong assets, however, a molecular pathology fellowship is not a requirement
  • Strong communication skills, collegiality and a collaborative approach are essential
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in laboratory quality assurance, medical leadership or management will be viewed favorably
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are an asset, reflecting the diversity of the patient population we serve

**Problem Resolution & Quality Assurance:**
+ Conduct thorough test software fault investigations and develop solutions
+ Lead test failure investigations using RCA, 8D, and ECAT methodologies
+ Manage equipment calibration programs including OTR disposition and repairs
**Data & Process Management:**
+ Oversee test data analysis, reporting, and management systems
+ Drive standardization of avionics repair and test procedures across sites
+ Support Corrective Action Request (CAR) processes to prevent defects
**Additional Core Duties:**
+ Develop innovative solutions to reduce test time and expand repair capabilities
+ Collaborate with global teams on value engineering projects
+ Provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
+ Support material reuse initiatives and repair process improvements
**Must haves:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in test engineering, with a focus on avionics or high reliability systems.
+ 5+ years experience in programming languages (Python, C++) and automated testing tools (Selenium, LabVIEW).
+ 2+ years experience with Agile methodologies, and configuration management.
+ 2+ years experience with performance, security, or load testing is an asset.

**Job Description:**
The Model Validation (MV) group is a centralized model risk management function within the Bank. It has seen fast growth in the past few years reflecting global regulators' increasing attention on model risk. The Retail model validation team within MV is responsible for the vetting and approval of complex mathematical and statistical models used to measure the risk exposure inherent in retail and trading products, as well as to review, validate and approve models used for the calculation of risk capital for these businesses. By ensuring an objective and independent evaluation of models, the model validation function is critical to the effective measurement and management of risk across the TD Bank Group.
**Job Description** :
The position reports to Senior Manager, Retail Credit Risk, Model Validation
+ Perform validation of all models deemed in-scope by the bank-wide Model Risk Policy. These models are used in the Bank for projecting Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) estimates for stress testing (DFAST, EWST) purposes, adjudication/management/collection for various retail products, marketing and analytics, etc.
+ Develop independent benchmarks for use in the validation of the above listed models. These benchmark models could be supervised learning, unsupervised learning and deep learning algorithms. Assess the appropriateness of the model for its specific use, reasonableness of the model assumptions and the accuracy of the model implementation.
+ Prepare detailed reports describing the mathematical analytics of the model, validation techniques employed, test results obtained, and any model limitations noted.
+ Prepare Management summaries highlighting the outcome of the validation process for each model and outlining recommendations for approval or further improvements.
+ Establish and maintain productive working relations with internal model development groups such as US and CAD Retail Model Development, Financial Stress Testing (FST), etc., as well as external vendors who have developed customized models for TD.
+ Play a key role in ensuring the appropriate use of risk models. Identify the need to implement new models/techniques for risk management as industry standards evolve and regulatory requirements change.
+ Stay current in knowledge of credit risk management methodologies, predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
**Requirements and/or qualifications** :
+ Strong statistical background and excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a graduate degree in one or more of the following areas: statistics, economics, finance, mathematics, computer science and engineering.
+ At least 5 years of experience with model development/validation, including machine learning models, dealing with PPNR stress testing, scorecard and/or capital models
+ Hands-on experience with relevant programming languages, such as Python, SAS, R is a must
+ Knowledge in retail banking products, customer behaviours, and macroeconomic impacts is a definite asset
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Good time management and multitasking skills
+ Quick learner who grasps new concepts and techniques quickly
