Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description

Join our dynamic Inventory Control team where you will play a critical role in managing and moving products within our facility. You will be part of a close-knit team of about five people, responsible for conducting cycle counts, handling paperwork, and supporting shipping and receiving operations.

Time - 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM

Pay rate - $21/hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory within the facility.
• Move products within the warehouse using a sit-down forklift.
• Handle shipping and receiving duties as needed.
• Manage and organize paperwork efficiently.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move pallets around the warehouse.
• Work in a cooler environment to ensure product quality.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift with at least one year of experience.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Strong communication skills for handling paperwork.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in cooler temperatures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $1.00 - 21.00/hr.

• Conduct price override adjustments

• Troubleshoot IT issues with store operations
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

• Ability to maintain accurate data integrity
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and provide support to other team members

• Prior retail, warehouse receiving, and logistic experience an asset
