Heli-One is looking for an experienced Aerospace Welder who will be accountable for the effective operation welding equipment for the repair and manufacture of aircraft components, tools and equipment in accordance with relevant procedures and instructions. They will be based at our Delta facility but may be required to work in Richmond from time to time. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to grow in a challenging, safe and clean environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply advanced welding and brazing techniques, utilizing specialized equipment and tools, to ensure the repair, overhaul, and fabrication of critical aircraft components, engines, and structural parts.
  • Manufacture tools and equipment to support operational requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to OEM manual specifications, service bulletins, quality procedures, airworthiness directives, and company policies to ensure compliance and uphold safety standards.
  • Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Remain flexible to undertake additional tasks as required.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants must be either Canadian Citizens or hold a Permanent Resident (PR) Card.
  • Knowledge of AWS D17.1 and AWS D17.2 is an asset.
  • Will be proficient in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
  • 3-years aerospace welding experience preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of resistance spot welding and micro spot-welding techniques.
  • Able to interpret engineering specifications, manuals, drawings and process documentation.
  • Pass a visual acuity exam with corrected vision of 20/20 or better (e.g., with glasses or contacts) to meet the role's visual standards.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in the English Language (both verbal and written).
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

The purpose of this position is to evaluate product technical data packages, process planning and procedures, and tooling design to produce programming for machine tools and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate CAM program for CNC machines using MasterCAM software.
Issue required documents to aid in setting up machines (tool list, setup sheets).
Optimize CNC programs on 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers in a cost-effective manner but within quality part requirements.
Provide assistance and work with machinists to ensure fully comprehensible programs.
Work with methods engineering, production and quality to ensure the requirements are met of the manufactured products.
Select cutting tools and prove them out.
Review scheduled existing machining processes for improvement opportunities.
Store generated data, reports and documents according to defined company structure.
Prepare and issue required stage drawings for the Job.
Define times, material sizes and cuts, help define tech details, feed and speed rates.
Prepare, review and issue the CAD, CAM and CNC programs required for the Job.
Know and follow the procedures (QOP, WI, DL) of the Manufacturing Engineering department.
Ensure the CAM file is as standard as possible, write following standard methodology.
Recover any changes on CAM done at the CNC machine following job completion.
Ensure the Job final information and programs are retrieved from the Shop Floor, reviewed and filed.
Execute any other specific assignments as instructed by supervision.

REQUIREMENTS (see job classification for required level of experience):

Post-secondary education is desired.
Minimum 10 years of experience in programming using MasterCAM program.
Experience using center of rotation for 4&5 axis CAM programs would be an asset.
Excellent ability to read complex mechanical drawings with GD&T.
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing technology.
Strong technical knowledge of precision machining and manufacturing methods.

financial estimates on RFPs (Request for Proposals), engineering drawings and high-level

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in generating Customer proposals by interpreting RFPs, generating product features, working with Engineering to create product renderings and defining detailed levels of product offerings. Research, analyze and interpret historical data to support estimates and cost models.
Participate in the development and refinement of pricing models.

**Job Title - Junior Air Systems Integrator**
**Location - Mirabel - hybrid 3 days a week in the office**
Capgemini Engineering are looking for a junior, dynamic individual who is looking to expand their experience in Aerospace engineering! We are currently seeking an individual interested in a role involving the integration of aircraft systems (namely air systems) as well as some coordination and cross-functional communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
**About the job you're considering**
-Review component qualification documentation (Spec, ATP, QTP, QSR, QTR, etc)
-Manage tasks directly with supplier and internal client stakeholders.
-Run root cause and safety analysis on in service issues.
-Prepare and define Technical Requirement Documents and Engineering Technical Assessments
-Evaluate vendor technical proposals and internal Program Change Requests
-Review and approve vendor requirement specifications, design/ substantiation documentation.
-Support aircraft test programs
-Prepare technical reports to show compliance to the applicable certification requirements.
-Support in service aircraft by creating and reviewing engineering modification packages based on customer or regulatory change requests. Support Service Bulletin development. Support in service aircraft fleet investigation by addressing in Service Difficulty Reports.
**Your skills and experience**
-You hold a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering.
-You have experience working to integrate Air system development (1-3 years)
-Knowledgeable with civil airworthiness FAR Part 25 regulations relating to air systems and have a working understanding of industry advisory material for applicable TCCA, EASA, and FAA certification requirements.
-Familiar with Problem Reports (to document Root Cause, Immediate Failure Effect, Corrective Actions, Evidence)
-Familiar with Technical content of Service Bulletins
-Independent to manage tasks directly with supplier and client stakeholders.
-Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
-You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-You have the capacity to reliably meet deadlines while paying close attention to details.
-You have the capacity to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, in English.

As an Aerospace ISC Technician Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks related to the assembly, testing, and repair of aerospace components and systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the highest quality standards are met. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
You will report directly to our Supervisor of ISC Gate 1 and you'll work out of our designated aerospace facility in Slemon Park, PE.
In this role, you will impact the production and maintenance of aerospace components and systems, contributing to the overall success of our aerospace operations.
- Perform assembly, testing, and repair of aerospace fuel control components and systems
- Follow technical instructions and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient work
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
**The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.**
