Key Responsibilities:

• The AME/Technician is responsible for checking and maintaining the condition of aircraft and engine, makes repairs, replacements and adjustments, in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
• S/he is accountable to the Production Manager for completing work assigned by the Lead Hand or Production Manager. The AME/Technician will ensure that all work is done in accordance with the policies and procedures defined locally and by Transport Canada.
• Complete verification inspections, if trained, as directed by Lead Hand / Production Manager and maintain integrity of all issued documents.
• Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions and bring forth any questions to the lead.
• Ensure shop area and tools are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
• Work with manager and coworkers to understand “the big picture”. Make any necessary adjustments to best achieve targets, including informing others of issues that might affect their targets.
• Disassemble, inspect, record discrepancies, recommend and record methods of repair
• Install, rig and carry out all other mechanical functions and test in accordance with manufacturer's specifications

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from accredited trade institution with Mechanics background
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanics-related general aircraft assembly, fabrication, installation.
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications and or Skills:

• Experience with Twin Otter aircraft and system is considered an asset

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• Ability to acquire a Transport Canada issued Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
• Flexibility to change shifts is required.

The Aviation Maintenance Analysts (AMA) operates as a virtual extension of the customers’ aircraft maintenance team. Customer engagement is paramount, and the AMA is responsible for managing each assigned customer account. This includes ensuring that the customer’s aircraft are up-to-date and maintained in the CAMP Maintenance Tracking platform. Specifically, this includes monitoring aircraft inspection and maintenance schedules to ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines and manufacturer recommendations, ensuring all customer provided maintenance compliance records and other data is processed accurately and in a timely manner, and applying their aviation technical knowledge in a manner that ensures the continued integrity of the customer’s maintenance program. The AMA is viewed internally and externally as the subject matter expert as it pertains to the aircraft maintenance program, as well as the CAMP Maintenance Tracking platform.

Relationships are key and the AMA is expected to develop and promote positive customer relationships that includes providing proactive solutions to customer problems, communicating concepts in a clear and effective manner, and championing the overall customer experience by assuming full accountability for the execution and delivery of all related services.

The candidate should have a strong interest in the aerospace industry and aviation/airline programs and be able to show past performance in successfully managing customer accounts.

You have:

• 2 to 10 years’ Experience in Relevant Technical Field or Industry or Business, knowledge of aviation maintenance or manufacturing preferred.
• Education: BS or Equivalent, A&P certificate a plus
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Innate ability to perform all activities with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work across teams.

The work environment involves more solo work with an apprentice, operating primarily from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential afternoon shifts based on aircraft operations. The schedule is flexible, offering a work pattern of 3/4 weeks on and two weeks off. Employees are provided with company accommodations, or suitable alternatives if necessary. A per diem is offered for days worked, with specific rates for travel outside of the local area. **Aircraft Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Production Manager and provide mentorship to apprentices. You will conduct scheduled inspections according to the customer work package, identify and document findings, ensure compliance through inspections and audits, complete maintenance releases, participate in company SMS, report hazards or incidents, and maintain a clean work area with FOD vigilance.
**Responsibilities**
Conduct scheduled inspections according to the customer work package.
Identify and document findings resulting from inspections.
Perform inspections of work to ensure compliance.
Audit documentation of work performed to ensure compliance.
Complete maintenance releases for work performed.
Participate in company SMS and report hazards or incidents in accordance with company reporting procedures.
Maintain a clean work area and exercise FOD vigilance.
**Essential Skills**
Repair and maintenance of aircraft.
Experience in line maintenance and heavy maintenance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with a license (can be a mix of line and heavy maintenance).
Minimum of 10 years of experience without a license.
Inspection and troubleshooting skills.
