Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect, remove, repair and install aircraft interior pieces, including doors, bulkheads and lavatories, passenger and pilot seats.

- Work with manager and coworkers to understand “the big picture”. Make any necessary adjustments to best achieve targets, including informing others of issues that might affect their targets.
- Disassemble, inspect, record discrepancies, recommend and record methods of repair
- Install, rig and carry out all other mechanical functions and test in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduated from accredited trade institution with Mechanics background
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Mechanics-related general aircraft assembly, fabrication, installation.
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications and or Skills:
- Experience with Twin Otter aircraft and system is considered an asset
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
- Ability to acquire a Transport Canada issued Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
- Flexibility to change shifts is required.

As an Aircraft Mechanic you will be responsible for operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting all aircraft systems. Proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling. Must be able to interpret technical manuals and engineering data to support tasks.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Perform system and/or function checkouts of components (static checks, hydraulic function checks, flight control rigging, fuel system checks and oxygen, ect.) per appropriate approved maintenance procedures or FAA requirements.
- Remove and replace components on the aircraft per appropriate approved maintenance procedures or FAA requirements.
- Attention to the smallest detail or component and ensure every little part is inspected, installed and function test to approved procedures.
- Complete assigned work, including troubleshooting and repairs of malfunctioning systems in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures within established schedule.
- Accurately log on Labor Data Collection System for work orders and attendance tracking.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate with 2 years of experience or no A&P with 4 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic.
- Proficient with using hand tools and precision equipment.
- Capable of reading and interpreting approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures.
- Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, work in confined spaces in unusual positions
- Able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs.
- Must not be allergic to jet fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids or cleaning solvents.

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a **Aircraft Battery Technician - B** to join our team in **Toronto, Ontario** .
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Receives and prioritizes orders; Performs initial inspections on units received for repair.
+ Use a computer in a production environment.
+ Look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings and/or specifications.
+ Operates various hand and power tools, mechanical and testing equipment throughout repair process.
+ Ensure that parts issued are correct for the specific assembly and are free of visible defects.
+ Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications of OEM or aircraft manual.
+ Inspect work for quality and check for FOD (Foreign Object Debris)
+ Ability to gather, retain, and recall a variety of facts and data in written and/or verbal form for the achievement of work tasks and duties
+ Assists other technicians as needed.
+ Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 1+ years of mechanical experience as a machinist, mechanic or other mechanical aptitudes
+ 1+ years of experience using electronic measuring tools and equipment such as Multi-meters
+ Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ Currently hold an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and/or an Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) license
+ Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
+ SAP experience
