Key Responsibilities

Practice Building & Growth

  • Play a key role in shaping and expanding the Airport Commercial Services practice, with responsibility for identifying opportunities and driving growth.
  • Partner with senior leadership to design and implement strategies for market entry, brand positioning, and client acquisition.
  • Act as an internal champion for airport commercial services, building internal awareness and cross-selling opportunities.

Business Development

  • Lead business development efforts, including prospecting, proposal writing, and client presentations.
  • Build and expand relationships with airports, concessionaires, developers, and other industry partners.
  • Position the firm as a trusted advisor by contributing to thought leadership, presenting at conferences, and publishing industry insights.

Project Leadership

  • Serve as Project Manager or Technical Lead on key assignments in commercial strategy, concessions planning, financial modeling, and passenger experience optimization.
  • Manage project teams and ensure delivery of high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results.
  • Innovate new approaches, tools, and methodologies to differentiate our offerings in the airport commercial space.

Team Development

  • Mentor and guide junior staff, supporting their growth in both technical and consulting skills.
  • Contribute to building a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and client-focused culture within the practice.

Requirements

Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the aviation industry, with expertise in airport commercial services, concessions, real estate, or non-aeronautical revenue strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, aviation, planning, economics, finance, or related discipline).
  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset, with demonstrated success in practice building, business development, or market expansion.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Established relationships within the U.S. and Canadian airport industry.

Preferred:

  • Technical expertise in concessions planning, financial modeling, business case development, or airport real estate.
  • Experience introducing new service lines or growing a consulting offering from early stages.
  • Active involvement in professional organizations such as AAAE, ACI-NA, or regional airport associations.

Summary:

Ramp Agents are responsible for facilitating the turnaround of aircraft (arrivals and departures). Ramp Agents, under the guidance of Lead GSA’s direct aircraft into the gate, load, unload and sort all luggage and freight, de-ice the aircraft, service lavatories, fill the aircraft’s portable water supply and direct the aircraft during gate push-back.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for maintaining safety and security of the ramp at all times.
  • Assist in ramp set up and storage of equipment and baggage.
  • Actively participates in the Safety Management System. (SMS)
  • Marshal aircraft on the ramp, includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft
  • Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage and airfreight (if applicable), including loading and offloading aircraft, sorting and transfer of baggage to carousels.
  • Service aircraft as needed i.e. aircraft lavatories, potable water fills, cabin grooming and deicing.
  • Observe safe ground-handling procedures and maintenance of ground service equipment, including the performance of equipment checks.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and airline policies.
  • Constantly communicate with flight crew personnel and other ground personnel.
  • Actively participate in SA’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazard and incidents encountered in daily operations.  Understand, comply with and promote the company Safety Policy.
  • Participate in training to comprehend, implement, and maintain all quality objectives as stated in our Quality Management System to ensure delivery of desired levels of operational safety and security.

+ Shift start time 8:45 PM and finish time approx. midnight

The ramp agent is responsible for providing efficient service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures with primary focus on receiving and departing aircraft. Also requires communicating effectively with customers, pilots, and team members within the line service and customer service departments.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Greet incoming and prepare departing aircraft
  2. Assist in aircraft movement, placement, and storage as a wing walker
  3. Fulfill pilot's service requests
  4. Van runs-passengers and pilots
  5. Monthly crew meetings

Competencies

  1. Customer focus-naturally outgoing/extroverted
  2. Communicate with customers and employees in person, on phone, and through radio communications
  3. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires clean driving record)
  4. Strong computer skills including Microsoft office products
  5. Basic mathematical knowledge
  6. Bi-linqual preferred

Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Line Service Manager

Work Environment
This position works outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:

  1. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  2. Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery
  3. Outside work in all types of weather conditions
  4. Position may requires bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping and climbing a ladder

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a non-exempt position This position includes shift work which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications

  1. Customer service experience in the service industry preferred
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent
  3. Entry level position
  4. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  5. Acceptable driving record
  6. Ability to pass a background check
  7. Zero tolerance drug free employer includes pre-employment and random screening
