We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Cloud Solutions lead to lead engagements and enable our clients through cloud adoption, migration, and modernization programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering cloud adoption strategies and cloud solutions. **Key Responsibilities:**
Cloud Adoption & Strategy Development:
+ Conduct assessments, develop, and deliver cloud adoption strategies.
+ Lead cloud adoption efforts, ensuring that clients successfully move to cloud environments, including public, private, or hybrid solutions.
+ Work with clients to define cloud adoption roadmaps, business cases, and transformation strategies.

+ Act as a subject matter expert for cloud technologies, keeping abreast of industry trends and innovations.
+ Contribute to the development of internal knowledge repositories, best practices, and reusable assets.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and other teams to ensure alignment on business goals and technical requirements.
+ Deliver regular progress reports and executive-level presentations to ensure that stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, and milestones.
+ Identify and manage project risks and issues, taking proactive steps to address them before they become blockers.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a cloud architecture or solution design role.
+ Proven experience in client-facing roles, including consulting, delivering cloud adoption, migration, and modernization programs.
+ Demonstrated success in managing complex cloud transformation projects from conception to completion.
Technical Expertise:
+ Deep expertise in cloud technologies, platforms, and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Cloud Solutions Administrator will play a critical role in our cloud strategy and will be responsible for managing the organizations cloud infrastructure that supports efficient, robust, scalable, and secure solutions to meet business requirements and technology strategies. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deploy, provision, and manage multiple cloud infrastructure components including but not limited to virtual networks and subnets, virtual machines, applications, containers, serverless, storage, IAM services, virtual network appliances, VDI, logging, and monitoring.
  • Contribute to the development, and deployment of cloud business solutions.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.
  • Perform regular management and administration tasks for all cloud services including upgrades, patching, backup, restore, troubleshooting, and issue remediation.
  • Automate the provisioning of cloud environments to provide fast and reliable services to a rapidly growing client.
  • Assist with the automation of cloud deployment, provisioning, and management tasks.
  • Monitor cost of storage, compute, and general utilization of the cloud platform.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Drive meetings with subject matter experts from all areas of the business including infrastructure, operations, applications, vendors and leads to seeking input from and plan/coordinate migrations, resources requirements and timelines.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, related discipline. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years experience working with Azure cloud; experience with working with AWS or GCP is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple cloud services and technologies including but not limited to virtual machines and virtual machine scale sets, containers and AKS, App Service, Azure Functions, databases, Azure AD, Data Factory, VPN Gateways, Load Balancers, Azure Storage, Azure Files, Network Security Groups, etc. SQL
  • Support and assist with the management of secure cloud operations and corporate networks

**The Impact:** Joining our team in Canada, the candidate will be responsible for supporting and expanding our cloud infrastructure, monitoring and alerting frameworks, onboarding/migration projects, and interacting with the wider DevOps, QA, and development teams. We are looking for someone with proven DevOps experience who has development and operational skills and can deliver a secure and structured automated solutions to our operational tasks.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with software development teams to improve application reliability, performance, security and scalability.
+ Provide BAU Production support, and resolve issues either spotted by monitoring or reported by users before causing business impact
+ Develop scripts in Terraform, Python and Unix shell scripting to automate tasks and streamline processes.
+ Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform on AWS cloud platform utilizing best practices
+ Comfortable with writing database queries and performing database management with an added advantage of experience in MongoDB, AWS storage solutions
+ Set up and configure monitoring solutions, including Grafana, PagerDuty, Splunk to ensure system health and respond to incidents promptly.

**What We're Looking For:**
Basic Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of relevant DevOps and Software Engineering experience.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications.
+ Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies, GitHub, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Familiar with Database and Database query (MongoDB experience preferred but not mandatory, good experience on scripting or coding would be a plus)
+ Familiarity with monitoring solutions/logging solutions such as PagerDuty/Splunk and other industry-standard tools.

**Location:** This position is available as a hybrid or fully remote role based in Canada.
Bentley Systems is seeking a **Senior Cloud Engineer** to become a valued member of the **Bentley Cloud Services Management** (BCSM) team. The BCSM team is responsible for provisioning and maintenance of the Cloud infrastructure. The BCSM team provides Cloud infrastructure design and development for industry-leading Bentley users around the world. Bentley's partnership with Microsoft and Google cloud providers allows early access to cutting-edge technologies and hands-on engagements with experts.
This role is responsible for the automation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud-based services, release infrastructure, and tooling with a particular emphasis on DevOps automation principles. The role includes infrastructure and tooling automation architecture, development, service provisioning, as well as maintenance and monitoring. Some out-of-hours work will be required to respond to urgent issues to ensure business continuity for our users.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage, implement, and improve release automation (CI/CD Infrastructure) and tooling through Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise, scripting, developing tools, and proprietary systems.
+ Automate cloud-based deployments, resource provisioning, and other cloud infrastructure-related tasks.
+ Support, advise, and troubleshoot with development teams performing builds and releases.
+ Dive deep into availability, performance, and outages for infrastructure and systems, and provide technical leadership for proactive resolutions.
+ Perform cloud service production deployments.
+ Continuous research and development on Cloud technologies.
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 3 years' experience with Cloud Services development, deployment, and/or IT Cloud infrastructure set up and maintenance.
+ Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Azure Cloud or AWS is a plus).
+ Great scripting and development skills (PowerShell or Bash) with the desire to learn advanced scripting techniques.
+ Knowledge of AD and DNS, IIS, and networking.
+ Experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, YAML) or GitHub Enterprise (Git, Actions).
+ Experience with infrastructure backup and recovery in cloud environments.
+ Experience with Azure Resource Manager templates for infrastructure deployment into Azure is a plus.
+ Good knowledge of SQL server setup, SQL statements/scripts, and troubleshooting or other non-SQL databases.
+ Ability to document architectural designs along with operational processes and procedures to support ongoing administration of cloud systems.
+ Willingness to learn and become an expert at a wide array of cloud-based technologies in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
+ Self-motivation to eventually work on advanced projects and solutions.
+ Ability to work effectively in a global team and across organizations.

- Financial enterprise experience, ideally within RBC or similar environments
- Proven ability to make sound technical decisions independently, within RBC's tooling and governance frameworks
