Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Protocol Integration Engineer - this is a fully remote role for US based candidates or Canada/S America based candidates (if they can overlap with EST timezone)

We are a stablecoin platform for builders. With us, developers can create their stablecoins in minutes by extending our superior digital-dollar building block, and customise attributes such as branding, compliance behaviours, and yield distribution mechanics. By extending $M into their own stablecoin, businesses can monetize their digital dollar use cases and maintain control over their money tech stack, while not being burdened by operational heavy-lifting.

We are seeking an experienced Protocol Integration Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will enhance the growing set of $M Extensions projects, support partners' technical teams, improve existing products, and create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Adjust existing Solidity and/or Rust(Solana) M Extensions Frameworks to the external partners' needs.

• Maintain and enhance API/SDKs and Web3 infrastructure projects in TypeScript to meet partner needs.

• Ensure consistency and quality of our partners' extensions and integrations.

• Educate partners and their engineering teams about the core functionality of the M Extensions Frameworks.

• Write comprehensive documentation, test suites, and deployment scripts.

• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills: proficiency in smart contract development and/or full-stack engineering.

• Proficient in TypeScript.

• Prior technical role at an established DeFi project.

• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and cross-chain messaging protocols.

• Strong communication and writing skills.

• Fluent in English.

We’re on the lookout for a System Integration Engineer with a strong software background to support one of our clients in driving innovation across energy storage and electric vehicle infrastructure.

In this role, you’ll dive deep into embedded systems and supervisory controller design , helping bring complex technologies to life. From firmware development to deployment in the field. What You'll Be Doing

• Contribute to the design, prototyping, and validation of embedded Linux systems, web APIs, PLCs, and cloud-connected devices
• Support field deployments and help configure devices to ensure seamless integration with cloud services
• Monitor, control, and optimize system performance in real-world deployments
• Get involved in code reviews , factory and site testing, and user acceptance trials
• Analyze system data to uncover bottlenecks and performance issues
• Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot firmware and integration issues

• Experience with ARM/RISC-based boards and limited-resource systems
• Strong grasp of version control, commenting, and documentation best practices
• Hands-on experience through coursework or internships in embedded software design and testing
• Willing to get involved beyond the screen — in the lab, on the factory floor, or on-site
• Familiarity with BMS, EV charging systems, Linux RT extensions, or PLC programming (IEC 61131-3)
• Bonus points if you’ve used Python, JavaScript, or Go, and can share a portfolio of past embedded projects

• Execute the project management and drive customer communications related to Vention’s turnkey projects.
• Program automated cells and robotic applications using Python and Vention’s programming interface.
• Install, configure, deploy and commission Vention’s turnkey projects at the client site, focusing on hardware integration and software integration.
• Provide feedback on potential improvements to relevant teams (Product, Applications, Sales, Marketing), making sure the learnings from delivery are resolved for future deliveries
• Own the initial post-commissioning support for the client.
• Create and maintain an improvement roadmap to continuously improve and optimize the end-to-end delivery process
• Create and refine the documentation related to the Delivery process, to ultimately hand off the execution to different teams
• Support the pre-sale process with testing and product expertise
• Ensure the work area is well-organized and functional

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Bachelor’s degree in automation or robotics engineering or related field experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive problem solver, capable of identifying/reporting issues and generating solutions
• Attention to detail in the context of customer satisfaction
• Python programming experience 
• Able to travel (25%) between Canada and United States
