About the Role

Adaria is seeking a Software Engineer  to join our product development team and play a pivotal role in creating mobile software solutions that power transactions in the unattended retail industry , including vending machines , smart coolers , and micro markets . You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of mobile applications that enable seamless payment and operational experiences for users in the field.

We are looking for a hands-on Android developer with a passion for connected commerce, mobile UI/UX, and IoT-enabled systems. You will help drive the evolution of our digital platform, integrating with hardware systems, payment gateways, and remote management tools.


Responsibilities Mobile Application Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications used in conjunction with unattended retail hardware .

  • Build robust mobile software that integrates with payment terminals, QR scanners, and telemetry devices via APIs, Bluetooth, and/or other protocols.

  • Implement mobile-friendly UI/UX optimized for real-time transactions and field operations.

System Integration & Deployment
  • Integrate with payment processors, mobile wallets , and Adaria’s backend services to ensure secure and reliable transaction processing.

  • Work with internal resources and external vendors to test and troubleshoot device connectivity and data synchronization.

Customer-Focused Engineering
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders and teams to understand user requirements.

  • Participate in full software lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, release, and support.

  • Support rollout and updates of mobile apps deployed across a distributed retail network.

Quality Assurance & Maintenance
  • Write well-documented, maintainable, and testable code using best practices.

  • Conduct testing on hardware devices to ensure smooth user experience and reliability.

  • Monitor app performance and resolve production issues quickly to maintain uptime


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of professional experience in Android development using Java or Kotlin .

  • Experience with payment integration (e.g., Stripe, Square, card-present SDKs, or mobile wallets).

  • Familiarity with Bluetooth communication , NFC , or IoT protocols is a strong plus.

  • Solid understanding of mobile application security and secure data handling.

  • Experience building apps that interact with physical hardware is preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward system design and continuous improvement.


Bonus Skills
  • Exposure to unattended retail or embedded system environments .

  • Knowledge of remote telemetry platforms, vending machine protocols (e.g., MDB, DEX), or Android Open Accessory (AOA) protocols.

Job Overview

This is the team leader (head of marketing) responsible for the overall strategy and performance of FirstOntario's marketing. AVP ensures that digital transformation goals (e.g. expanding online member services) are met. They will align marketing initiatives with business objectives, driving both new member growth and existing member satisfaction.

This role will lead marketing initiatives to advance the brand and reputation of FirstOntario and its sub-brands, as a financial services leader in communities and Credit Union system. Role

  • Lead in the development and implementation of marketing strategies in alignment with FirstOntario's Strategic Plan and translate this strategy into marketing activation, initiatives, and tactics that will enhance the brand image, drive engagement to increase brand awareness, and utilize a broad range of traditional and non-traditional channels.
  • Support in the development and lead of the comprehensive marketing strategy (annual marketing plan) in line with FirstOntario's strategic goals, emphasizing digital channel growth and innovation.

  • Champion digital transformation within marketing by adopting new tools (e.g. marketing automation, data analytics) and ensuring seamless, user-friendly digital member experience.

Reporting to the Director, CRM, we are looking for a Marketing Manager, Channel Strategy, to play a crucial role in designing campaigns that resonate with customers and drive positive results that will set Scene+ apart. This is a full-time, hybrid role, working five days over a two-week period in the office.

As our new Marketing Manager, Channel Strategy, you will:

  • Collaborate on strategy. You will work with stakeholders to define campaign objectives, target segments, messaging, and desired outcomes. You will take an active role in the planning process, ensuring that lead times, resources, and channels are aligned to support campaign availability and seamless execution of marketing initiatives, including technical implementation, creative assets, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Develop, execute, and automate strategic channel campaigns. Please share a portfolio showcasing your expertise in digital marketing funnels, including campaign strategies and case studies on lead generation, conversion, and retention. 

Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, the Digital Marketing Expert will be responsible for building and executing high-performing digital marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will lead the development and optimization of paid and organic programs across multiple channels, including SEM, SEO, email, paid social, and content marketing, while ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and ROI analysis. 

This role requires a highly analytical marketer who is passionate about leveraging data to optimize full-funnel strategies, improve website conversion, and maximize campaign performance. You will also collaborate cross-functionally to implement tracking solutions, optimize website experiences, and stay ahead of industry trends to fuel continuous growth for Techo-Bloc. 

Digital Strategy Execution 

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, lead generation, conversions and drive sales across various online channels including SEM, SEO, email marketing, paid social, and content marketing. 
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the digital landscape, and recommend actionable insights to optimize campaign performance. 
  • Manage digital advertising budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize campaign spending to maximize ROI and achieve targeted goals. 
  • Audit and update Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and event tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure proper data collection, clean data flows, conversion tracking, accurate attribution and reporting. 
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards (Looker Studio, Excel) to analyze campaign and website performance. 

SEO & Organic Growth 

  • Identify and support opportunities to grow Techo-Bloc’s organic visibility and traffic. 
  • In collaboration with an external agency, perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes (crawlability, indexing, schema markup, etc.). 
  • Monitor organic search performance using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs

Website & Conversion Optimization 

  • Collaborate with the e-Commerce team to identify website optimizations that improve user experience and increase conversions. 
  • Support A/B testing and landing page performance improvements. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support 

  • Serve as a digital subject matter expert across the organization to inform broader strategies. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales, Creative, Events, etc. to develop integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives and customer needs. 
  • Collaborate on campaign briefs to define tracking, goals, and reporting benchmarks. 
Qualifications

  • Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in digital marketing roles with a focus on data analytics, strategy development, and campaign optimization.  
  • Expert level use of data analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms to track and measure digital marketing performance.  
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign effectiveness and ROI.  
  • Bilingual: French and English (English required for U.S. operations)
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, SEMrush, MOZ, or similar tools.  
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 
  • Ability to build a full digital funnel strategy based on data.  
  • Stay up to date on digital trends, SEO best practices, and analytics platform changes to keep Techo-Bloc ahead of the curve.
