Position Overview:
The Mechanical Assembly Technician will work as part of a team to provide superior service and stakeholder satisfaction through responsibility for equipment assembly resulting in a quality and schedule driven environment, while ensuring the well-being of self and all internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
• Assemble/test specially designed equipment for recovering and processing de-icing fluids to ensure proper working condition;
• Perform equipment builds and repairs using a variety of hand and power tools, cranes/lifts, while following all safety procedures and regulations;
• Conduct end of assembly function and performance verification tests and adjust assembled systems to meet performance specifications;
• Set hydraulic pressures, flows, and other system adjustments to ensure assembled equipment meets specifications;
• Disassemble and rebuild component assemblies, including troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions and restoring to proper working order;
Required Skills and Experience:
• 3rd year registered apprentice or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Previous experience with heavy equipment diagnostics, repair, maintenance or assembly;
• The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair systems such as hydraulics, powertrains and electrical and electronic systems used in heavy duty equipment and truck and transport vehicles;
• Willingness to be trained on other duties and positions within the fabrication facility;
• Ability to follow drawings, schematics, procedures, to make and or assemble sub-assemblies, along with kits for electrical, and hydraulic systems without damage to pre-painted parts for a final product that passes Inland’s Quality and Operational standards;
• Ability to work independently to achieve project goals before deadline;
• Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
• Read, write, speak and communicate effectively;
• Ability to interpret documents including safety rules, operating and procedure manuals;
• Ability to work as part of a team;
• Ability to maintain a positive and good-natured attitude;
• Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints;
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
Work Environment:
• The Mechanical Assembly Technician will work in a manufacturing and production working environment. There will be regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions (wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles and vibration). The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. There may be times when the Mechanical Assembly Technician will be required to work outside of their normal work schedule, so that we may meet the needs of our customers and/or operational requirements.
Physical Demands:
• It is expected that the employee be physically fit and able to perform all operational requirements;
• Position involves standing for extended periods of time as well as bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and arms;
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 75 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently;

**What you'll do:**
Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is an on-site role based at our plant in Milton, Ontario and leads a team of 25+ mechanical assemblers and 2 team leads across two shifts.
**Essential Functions Include:**
**Production Goals** - You will be responsible for strategic deployment of the workforce to meet production goals and customer requirements in a manner that aligns with Eaton's safety, quality, inventory and employee engagement objectives.
**Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)** - You will be a role model for our EHS culture, ensuring EHS expectations are strictly upheld and risk reduction projects are executed to make work safer.
**Drive Continuous Improvement** - Participate in and lead activities like Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S+, and Standard Work events. Your efforts will contribute to Kaizen events and other Lean activities, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.

The Role

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assembly and qualification testing on all of Advanced Upstream’s products. Including but not limited to maintaining inventory level controls, following best practices, troubleshooting and being able to think outside the box under minimum supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembly and testing of downhole completion tools under minimal supervision
- Follow production best practices and product assembly and testing manuals
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized production facility including inventory
- Provide equipment maintenance, inspections, and implementations within the production facility ensuring all equipment is ready for use at all times
- Assist in quality control as needed
- Required to be on time and available for overtime as needed
- Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications:
- Experienced in an oil and gas completion tools assembly and shop environment

# **Job Summary**
Plating food for the hospitals, and moving it through the packaging assembly line.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Proper traying of meals on the assembly lines
- Portioning and labelling of meals
- Sorting and unboxing the frozen food and emptying it into the bin
- Receiving food products or shipping meals when required.
- Frequent lifting, repetitive movement, pushing and carrying of supplies and carts. (Maximum lifting 30 lb.)
- Frequent standing for long periods.
- Work will be performed in cold environment.
- Product may need to be obtained from fridge that is at 4ºC or lower or the freezer that is at -18 ºC.
- Equipment utilized; food carts, serving utensils, food preparation equipment.
- Attention to detail is a must
