• The office hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday with 1 hour for lunch break.

You will be the backbone of production - assembling the final product, meticulously ensuring the highest quality, and shipping it to our customers all over the world. The Transformer Assembly Technician winds and assembles components as per company specifications, including wiring of electrical components such as relays, circuit breakers, transformers, and sub-assemblies.

• Assemble and fit metal and other prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints to build transformers.

He/She will execute mechanical builds and assemblies of machine guarding, structural framing and automation control systems. The Role 

We’re looking for experienced electrical assembly experts with a passion for quality workmanship, a knack for problem solving, and a positive, coaching-focused attitude.

As we scale up to meet growing demand for our cutting-edge 3D printers, you’ll play a key role in building high-performance cutting products, mentoring teammates, and helping us deliver exceptional quality. 

Responsibilities 

• Assemble and test electrical components and subassemblies 
• Provide hands-on mentorship, support skill development among teammates, and actively

• Assist the production supervisor in the coordination, scheduling and monitoring of production activities  
• Actively  identify  workplace  hazards,  propose  corrective  measures,  and  maintain  high  safety standards (including adherence to 5S principles)
• Ensure the smooth and safe operation of work and actively identify hazards in the workplace and propose corrective measures to the Health & Safety Committee   

• Monitor and communicate inventory needs proactively

• Ensure production targets are met on time and within budget  

• Identify and escalate issues related to product quality, collaborate with production engineering and quality teams to support solutions  

• Enforce a high standard of organization and cleanliness 

Qualifications  

• Collegial, vocational or technical training related to the fields of electrical assembly, aeronautics, electro mechanics or similar discipline 

• 4+ years of recent work in machine assembly or similar manufacturing environment  

• Proficient with basic hand tools and electrical test equipment (multimeters, cable testing systems, etc)  

• Strong hands on experience with electrical assembly tasks, wiring, and crimping systems 

• Capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs, Able to stand for extended periods of time  

• The ability to lead with positivity, clarity, and accountability 

• Sharp attention to detail, with excellent manual dexterity 

• A self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a passion for quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime
• Functionally bilingual in French and English
