Loss Prevention Asset Protection Manager
As a senior member of the Loss Prevention Management team, the Asset Protection Manager ensures all physical security plans, equipment, and systems are effectively deployed and maintained to meet company Loss Prevention objectives.
This role leads the Asset Protection team, focusing on security design, product protection, and the physical security (locksmith) shop. The Manager ensures appropriate security postures and the effective planning, deployment, and maintenance of physical security programs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Protect all company assets and reduce losses through proactive strategies and system oversight.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
- Lead and support the Asset Protection team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and auditing of physical security systems, fire and life safety devices, and tactical merchandising solutions.
- Conduct and lead formal risk assessments, audits, and follow-ups to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships and monitor performance related to physical security equipment and services.
- Approve and manage expenditures within authorized limits for security-related purchases and services.
- Maintain accurate records, complete payroll and administrative tasks, and ensure documentation meets company standards.
- Represent Loss Prevention objectives in interdepartmental meetings, construction projects, and industry events.
- Ensure open communication across all levels of management and staff.
- Respond to after-hours emergencies, alarm calls, and security incidents as required.
- Carry keys, access cards, and codes to attend and open select locations during emergencies.
- Travel to company locations or industry events as needed.
- Stay current on security technologies and innovations through industry engagement.
- Carry out all assigned tasks or additional duties as directed by the General Manager, Loss Prevention.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to take charge, stay calm, and respond with good judgment in emergency situations.

- Experience managing security systems, conducting risk assessments, and implementing physical security programs.
- Strong understanding of security assessment and systems design process.
- Knowledge of commercial construction process, codes pertaining to security and life safety systems, industry standards for physical security design in a retail setting.
- Knowledge of security use of architectural hardware, intrusion systems, fire alarm systems, video surveillance, access and key control, asset tracking, and perimeter protection.
- Understanding security best practices, industry standards for security design, common commercial security measures, construction practices and applicable codes and regulations.
- Experience with deploying security in support of retail and commercial operations and facilities is preferred.
- Provincial security worker license with ability to obtain licensing in any province as required.
- Familiarity with security-related licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Industry certifications such as LPC, PSP, CPP, or ASP are considered assets.
- Completion of London Drugs leadership training programs (or equivalent) is an asset.
- First Aid and WHMIS training is an asset.
- A valid Class 5 drivers license and access to reliable transportation.

Description du poste :
En tant qu'agent de sécurité chez Admiral Investigations, vous jouerez un rôle central dans la protection des biens, des actifs et du personnel de nos clients. Vos responsabilités incluront, sans toutefois s'y limiter :
Responsabilités clés :
- Contrôle d'accès : Surveiller et contrôler l'accès aux locaux, en veillant à ce que seules les personnes autorisées puissent entrer.
- Rondes : Effectuer des rondes de routine pour dissuader les activités criminelles et intervenir en cas d'incident, assurant ainsi la sécurité des locaux.
- Intervention en cas d'urgence : Agir rapidement en cas d'urgence, telle qu'un incendie, une situation médicale ou une violation de la sécurité, et signaler les incidents au besoin.
- Surveillance : Utiliser du matériel de surveillance pour surveiller et signaler les activités suspectes, assurant ainsi une présence proactive en matière de sécurité.
- Service à la clientèle : Fournir un service à la clientèle exceptionnel en aidant les clients et les visiteurs en leur fournissant des informations et des orientations lorsque cela est nécessaire.
- Rédaction de rapports : Tenir des rapports d'incident détaillés et précis, en documentant tous les incidents liés à la sécurité et les activités pendant votre quart de travail.
- Collaboration : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec d'autres agents de sécurité, les forces de l'ordre locales et les services d'urgence lorsque cela est nécessaire.
Qualifications :
Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous devriez posséder les qualifications et les compétences suivantes :
- Pas de licence de sécurité requise : Nous pouvons vous aider avec le processus de demande de licence de sécurité.
- Certification en premiers soins et RCR : La certification en premiers soins et RCR est considérée comme un atout.
- Compétences en communication : D'excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite sont essentielles.
- Compétences d'observation : Être attentif aux détails et capable d'identifier les menaces potentielles à la sécurité.
- Orientation client : Être aimable, accessible et capable de fournir un excellent service à la clientèle aux clients et aux visiteurs.
- Comportement professionnel : Maintenir une apparence et une conduite professionnelles en service.
- Permis de conduire valide au Nouveau-Brunswick : Un permis de conduire valide au Nouveau-Brunswick est préférable.

What You’ll Do:
As a Casual Security Guard , you’ll be at the heart of it all. From securing major events to responding to urgent service calls, you’ll be a vital part of our dynamic team. No two shifts are the same, and every assignment is an opportunity to grow your skills, face new challenges, and make a difference.
Your Responsibilities:
- Be the face of safety at major events, monitoring venues and ensuring protocols are followed.
- Respond to on-call service requests when needed, demonstrating quick thinking and professionalism.
- Stay alert and engaged, especially during night shifts.
- Offer assistance in medical emergencies (basic first aid or CPR is a big plus!).
- Adapt to the demands of the role – standing, sitting, walking, or lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Handle situations calmly and effectively, using self-defense or force if necessary, in line with training and provincial regulations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public and event organizers.

- You can obtain and maintain a New Brunswick Security License (we’ll guide you through the process).
