Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic with 2+ years of hands-on experience or journeyperson-level qualifications. This full-time role involves 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, and is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy solving problems in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake work, tire services, and inspections
- Use diagnostic tools to identify issues efficiently and accurately
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and service advisors regarding repair timelines and recommendations
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and ensure quality service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience (Journeyperson certification is an asset)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Must supply own tools
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
