We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Architectural Designer to join our Store Planning team. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing technical drawings and interior layout details for our retail stores, ensuring compliance with design standards, landlord requirements, and local building regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for retail store interiors using AutoCAD.
- Implement pre-approved design concepts into assigned interior spaces (non-load-bearing construction).
- Apply and ensure compliance with landlord design criteria and Level of Detail (LOD) requirements.
- Produce drawings required for building permit applications.
- Perform material take-offs and calculate required quantities.
- Prepare documentation for fixture and equipment procurement.
- Ensure construction drawings accurately reflect brand book guidelines and design team directives, and that final IFC, IFT, and IFP drawing sets are consistent and ready for the project management team.
- Coordinate with external consultants to ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate technical details of fixtures and fittings into drawings.
- Work closely with internal teams (IT, Loss Prevention, Marketing, Visual Merchandising) to ensure full coordination across all build aspects.
- Oversee external drafting consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance with design requirements.
- Participate in project planning with design and project management teams.
- Ensure drawing sets align with project budgets and timelines.
- Respond quickly to site-related issues and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain and update standard layout blocks and drafting configurations.
- Manage and keep the brand’s technical documentation and file directories up to date.
- 5–7 years of experience in retail construction drawing production (including space planning of individual stores)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D rendering tools (Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp)
- Knowledge of MS Office products
- Demonstrates strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Can manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Dans le cadre de l’industrialisation du programme avion A220 avec notre partenaire/client, le rôle primaire du « Concepteur et dessinateur en Ingénierie » est d’assurer que la conception de la structure primaire, la conception des structures secondaires et la conception des installations des systèmes dans son périmètre sont conformes aux exigences techniques. Il se rapporte opérationnellement au Responsable Conception.
Responsabilités du poste
S’assurer que le périmètre technique est bien respecté selon les exigences clients, les besoins du programme et les requis manufacturiers;
• Participer à la conception de la structure primaire, structure secondaire et des installations des systèmes dans son périmètre :
- Prendre les décisions techniques reliées à la conception de la structure primaire.
- Prendre les décisions techniques pour les supports fixes et supports mobiles.
- Prendre les décisions techniques pour tous les installations systèmes qui lui sont affectées.
- Prendre les décisions techniques nécessaires concernant le design, la fabrication, l’installation et la vérification des pièces et assemblages.
- Développer et vérifier des plans de tests avec les laboratoires. Vérifier les rapports de tests et analyser les résultats.
• Préparer les principaux livrables techniques et assurer la conformité des livrables techniques suivant les exigences d’Airbus Atlantique et celles du client (solutions technique, vérification des plans, rapports de qualification et certification, etc.);
• Livrer des plans de pièces et plans d’installations en respectant les engagements de livraison en temps et en qualité envers les clients (internes et externes);
• Fournir la visibilité sur le périmètre technique à sa hiérarchie et au programme (synthèses techniques, état d’avancement technique, identification des risques techniques);
• Participer à l’analyse et l’implémentation des changements avec le programme, la chaîne d’approvisionnement, la production et les clients;
• Préparer les analyses d’impact d’incorporation des changements;
• Assurer l’interface technique vis-à-vis de son homologue chez le client ainsi que l’interface technique avec les fournisseurs;
• Supporter la résolution des problèmes de non conformités de pièces et des problèmes de ligne de montage.
PROFIL RECHERCHÉ
• Baccalauréat/Maitrise (ou équivalent) en Ingénierie mécanique, ou aéronautique;
• Avoir un minimum de 10 ans d’expérience en conception d’aérostructure;
• Connaissance en conception de structure primaire métallique et composite (un atout), structure secondaire et installations de systèmes;
• Connaissance des processus et méthodes de conception aéronautique (Processus et Méthodes Airbus Atlantique, BOMBARDIER, AIRBUS Canada);
• Avoir une bonne maîtrise de Catia/Enovia;
• Expérience en Conception et fabrication de pièces tôlées et machinées;
• Expérience en Conception et fabrication de pièces composites serait un atout;
• Expérience en Conception MRB serait un atout;
• Connaissance des procédés et requis manufacturiers reliés à la fabrication de structure primaire et secondaire;

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented BIM & CAD Technician to support our electrical engineering team in Vancouver. - Electrical Systems Design Support: Work closely with electrical engineers to develop Revit models and CAD drawings for power, lighting, fire alarm, and communications systems, etc.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other design professionals to ensure accurate integration of electrical systems within the building design when required.
- Documentation & Detailing: Prepare clear and accurate construction documents, including electrical plans, single-line diagrams, circuiting, panel schedules, and equipment schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs and drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Review work for consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
- Project Coordination: Assist with coordinating and preparing project deliverables, including submittals and revisions, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Modelling & Clash Detection: Conduct clash detection within the BIM model and address any conflicts between electrical systems and other disciplines.
- Drafting Standards & Procedures: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of drafting standards and practices within the company, ensuring consistency and efficiency in all project models and drawings.

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience using Revit 2018 or a later version in a professional workplace and AutoCAD

The Role

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand packaging requirements and objectives.
- Create and modify print-ready packaging designs using CAD software.
- Design and develop innovative carton packaging structures that meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Create 2D and 3D prototypes and mock-ups to visualize design concepts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and material analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless transition from design to manufacturing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and materials to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
- Review and revise designs based on client feedback and production constraints.
- Ensure that packaging designs comply with regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Printing Pre-Press and Structural CAD Technician.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., ESKO, ArtiosCAD, KeyShot) and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of packaging paper, production processes, and printing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and eco-friendly packaging solutions is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing previous packaging design and pre-press projects.
