Our Tim Hortons is a growing company. We are looking to add an experienced and responsible individual to our team to repair restaurant equipment and maintain daily building maintenance ranging from part time to full time hours. We have restaurants within Windsor and Chatham-Kent. We promote flexibility with your schedule. This includes equipment such as Panini Press, Toasters, Hot holding units, Cream Machines and Coffee Makers.



REQUIREMENTS
  • Replace and/or repair defective and worn parts (i.e. changing fridge/freezer gaskets, replacing handle on oven)
  • Switch out equipment within the restaurants
  • Able to perform minor plumbing and electrical maintenance
  • Assist with moving equipment during renovations
  • Able to perform power washing of buildings, sidewalks, garbage containers
  • Miscellaneous duties as required (i.e. changing of ceiling tiles, changing lights)

**About the Role:**
The Maintenance and Automation Supervisor will play a critical role at our Georgetown, ON plant, a manufacturer of quality cracker products. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations while driving continuous improvement and automation initiatives across the facility. You will supervise a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensure all machinery, equipment, and control systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
The role also provides hands-on technical support and advanced problem-solving for automation and production processes, ensuring optimal equipment reliability and supporting a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
+ Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure proper maintenance practices and timely repairs.
+ Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the design, installation, and operation of control systems and semi-automated production processing and packaging equipment.
+ Collaborate with Operations to address design and operational concerns, ensuring optimal control functionality within process systems.
+ Assign tasks and prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and criticality of equipment.

What Would a Typical Day Look Like?

  • Involvement in pre-sales support, develop overall solution architecture, requirements specification and system design, as well as construction and implementation.
  • Perform gap analysis and determine best approach to address the gaps.
  • Act as functional lead on a variety of projects
  • Facilitate functional re-use in solution architecting.

What Qualifies You for this Opportunity?

  • 7-10 years of experience in the manufacturing software arena, particularly using software that can be described as Information/MES/IIoT
  • Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment and with industrial controls
  • Proven expertise in areas such as requirements specification, architecting solutions, systems analysis, and design.
  • Certified with Inductive Automation’s Ignition Platform software; experience with Sepasoft and/or Cirrus Link Solutions integrated modules an asset.
