Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a Building Automation System (BAS) Technician to join our growing team based out of Winnipeg, MB. As a BAS Technician you will be involved in the installation, commissioning and servicing of commercial building automation systems. This position requires a good working knowledge of PC fundamentals, PC Networking/LAN, basic electronic theory and Building Electrical/Mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering BAS solutions to our customer base within the Construction/Operation Department.
- Assist with site commissioning, point to point verifications, troubleshooting and startup of a variety of Building Automation Systems.
- Learn and demonstrate a thorough understanding of Ainsworth Safe Work and H&S Policies.
- Understand fundamentals of how HVAC systems operate on commercial buildings.
- Work with and understand HVAC and Digital Control fundamentals
- Demonstrate working knowledge of BAS Networking and Building System Integration.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Fluent in English – both written and oral.
- The ability to read and understand construction plans and specs and product documentation.
- Graduate of Post-Secondary technical or engineering program.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office.
- Medium physical duties, the ability to stand for long periods of time in a construction environment, the ability to climb ladders and at times work from heights.

ZPI, the developer of the industry leading Zarpac Performance Index (ZPI) manufacturing performance improvement software, is seeking an experienced Systems Integrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integration, commissioning, and support of our comprehensive software suite, both remotely and on-site at client locations. This position is primarily based in-office, with the flexibility to work from home up to three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits on PLC & HMI code to extract and analyze relevant data.
- Establish and validate communications to various devices via OPC including troubleshooting communication issues as needed.
- Perform on-site integration and commissioning of the ZPI software suite.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting of the ZPI software, OPC configuration, related software during and post-installation.
- Coordinate and participate in customer calls to review project status, provide feedback, and address questions regarding installation requirements.
- Leverage expertise in the setup and utilization of the ZPI software suite to offer feedback and guidance on its installation to clients and fellow integrators.
- Utilize various interfaces to collect data points for updating and tracking information within the ZPI program.

Job Responsibilities:
