Responsibilities of a Sales Consultant role include:

  • Greeting customers and providing them with information regarding vehicles for sale;
  • Conducting test drives of vehicles for sale;
  • Emphasizing product/service features and benefits;
  • Quoting prices, overcoming objections of prospective customers, and preparing sales order forms/reports;
  • Building and fostering a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth;
  • Ensuring that every vehicle delivery is special for every client;
  • Following up on all leads from all sources;
  • Developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with customers;
  • Building and maintaining ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research.
  • Answering customer inquiries via email, text, and phone;

  • Previous automotive sales experience is a must.
  • OMVIC licence is a must.
  • The ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
  • You are self-motivated, confident, and customer-focused, with strong organizational skills;

Position Overview:

As a Remote Car Sales & Finance Specialist, you will guide customers through the car-buying process, from recommending the right vehicle to securing financing that suits their budget. Your combination of sales expertise and financial knowledge will ensure that each customer receives a seamless and personalized experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make inbound and outbound calls to engage potential customers interested in purchasing a vehicle
  • Understand customer preferences, needs, and budgets to recommend the ideal vehicle options
  • Provide detailed information on vehicles, including features, pricing, and availability
  • Work with customers to assess their credit and offer financing solutions, such as loans and leases
  • Walk customers through the finance application process, explaining terms, rates, and repayment options
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth approval, funding, and completion of sales
  • Assist customers with trade-in evaluations and down payment options
  • Offer exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries and providing guidance throughout the process

Qualifications:

  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales and finance targets
