The Role:
As an STT Bilingual Trainer – Accounting you will provide training to existing customers in the Accounting module of our Dealer Management Software , in both English and French . You will be responsible for assisting customers’ training both on the phone and virtually leading up to the new software completion. STT Bilingual Trainers also assist the customer onsite/in person, when required, with new software install training.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learn and develop an understanding of all areas of the PBS software
- Learn and develop an understanding of the process for training customers on the PBS software
- Learn and develop an understanding of data entry and other key tasks
- Become an install resource without assistance
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks without direction from Team Leads
- Taking the initiative to learn new products to increase their knowledge
- Provide excellent support to our customers in our software
- Be able to talk about and be able to navigate our DMS Software to be able to better assist our customers
- Work directly with customers and train all sessions in assigned module or modules
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying customer needs and ensure they are being met
- Responds to both internal and external training requests in a timely manner
- Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise and escalate issues to the corresponding teams
- Create and maintain a positive work environment
- Knowledge sharing within own module and others within STT
- Maintain documentation and update as processes change within department
- Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
- Ensure STT queue is monitored
- Customer focus / excellent customer service skills
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Experience in bookkeeping/accounting
- 1-2 years’ previous experience in the automotive industry/dealership environment , PBS experience considered a strong asset
- High School Diploma
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving & trouble shooting skills
- Strong documentation abilities
- Effective time management & organizational skills
- Strong multi-tasking & prioritization
- Willingness to go the “Extra Mile”

SUMMARY: Repairs, services and overhauls automobiles, trucks, motorhomes, trailers and other automotive vehicles by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Follow all rules and regulations as spoken or written in any form by the management, i.e. employee’s handbook and any addendums issued or posted at any time.
· Always maintain a positive attitude and the team concept.
· Use the phone in a professional manner, always with the intention of creating a long-term relationship between the repair shop and the customer.
· To act in a professional manner suitable as to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting an attitude of honesty and respectfulness.
· Always observe and adhere to all Bureau of Automotive Repair rules and regulations.
· Each employee must adhere to all OH&S safety rules and regulations as well as all city and county regulations regarding shop safety, fuel spill cleanup or other flammable or hazardous material.
· Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by management.
· Diagnose and repair vehicles that failed the smog inspection.
· Examine vehicle. Discuss nature and extent of damage or malfunction with service writer. Provide recommendations for repair, including parts list needed to perform. Recommended repairs. Provide list of other items needing attention.
· Perform a preventive maintenance inspection on all vehicles.
· Ensure all under-car, under-hood, and preventive maintenance inspections and reports are complete and accurate.
· Raise vehicle, using shop lifting equipment, to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of vehicle, using proper equipment and safety procedures.
· Remove units, such as engines, transmissions, or differentials.
· Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear.
· Repair or replace parts, such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
· Overhaul or replace carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps.
· Diagnose electrical system problems and perform electrical repairs.
· Rewire/repair ignition system, lights, and instrument panel.
· Replace and/or adjust brakes, perform alignments, replace struts & shock absorbers.
· Machine drums and rotors as necessary.
· Diagnose and repair cooling system failures. Remove and replace cooling system parts, remove radiators for repair.
· Replace and adjust headlights. Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.
· Ensure that all work is performed to proper specifications.
· Wear appropriate safety equipment as needed.
· Attend company-related work and safety meetings.
· Maintain a cost-conscious attitude toward all work and company spending.
· Assist other employees as directed by management.
· Immediately report any damage to equipment or facilities. Correctly fill out incident report as needed.
· Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
· Current/valid Class 5 driver’s license.
· 3 or 5 year driving abstract acceptable to our current insurance carrier.
· Journeyman certificate or currently enrolled in apprenticeship program.
· In order to perform and complete Out of Province and Commercial Vehicle Inspections, the proper government approval must be obtained and on file.
