Using deep learning, cloud-based computing, and our proprietary process, our solution autonomously optimizes existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control systems for maximum impact on energy consumption.
An exciting opportunity awaits you to join a fast-growing Artificial Intelligence company to be part of our Ecosystem team as our strong generalist when it comes to infrastructure and cloud development. Your experience will challenge you a little further at BrainBox AI to ensure our systems are fully working on autopilot within our buildings worldwide. You will help the team continue supporting legacy systems. This may include account and access administration. Generating ad-hoc reports. RCA of failures. Proposals for legacy infrastructure. A strong quality you have, has always been your meticulous eye for detail and sophisticated coding style. We need you to continue bringing us in the right direction.
What you will do
- Contribute to the maturation of our cloud infrastructure.
- Identify areas for automation and implement them.
- Proactively identify infrastructure bottlenecks and coordinate remediation.
- Document infrastructure and runbooks for support team.
- Supporting legacy systems.
What you will need to be successful
- Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of AWS services (ECS, ECR, Parameter Store, API Gateway, ELB, S3, Lambda, Cognito, etc.) and AWS networking (subnets, route tables, transit gateway, Cloud WAN, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Terraform (or similar IaC but we use Terraform).
- Excellent knowledge of Gitlab (or similar CI/CD platform).
- Strong knowledge and experience with Git (branching, merging, tagging, troubleshooting performance, etc.).
- Scripting experience with high-level programming languages (ex. Python).
- Knowledge of production environment best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Adaptable, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Bilingualism in French and English is required. Candidates selected, in addition to mastering French, must have full professional proficiency in English in order to support and collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues, and/or various stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS Organizations.
- Understanding of data sovereignty.
- Knowledge of database administration.
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux administration (particularly Debian/Ubuntu Linux distributions).
- AWS certification.
