As a Healthcare Access Control Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors by operating AI-powered weapon detection systems at South Shore Regional Hospital. This position requires professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while creating a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor AI-based weapon detection and access control systems at hospital entry points.
- Engage with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and empathetic manner during screenings.
- Respond to alerts, conduct secondary screenings, and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide clear directions and reassurance to individuals entering the facility.
- Maintain accurate incident logs and system performance records.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff, internal security, and law enforcement as required.
- Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols while ensuring smooth entry flow.
- Contribute to a culture of respect, safety, and inclusivity.
Requirements
Requirements (Must-Haves)- Reside in Bridgewater, NS
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to work 12-hour rotational shifts (days/nights)
- Valid Security License (Nova Scotia regulations)
- Standard First Aid & CPR (CSA Approved) certification
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents
- Prior experience in healthcare security, access control, or law enforcement
- Strong conflict de-escalation and customer service skills
- Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- If not currently held, candidates can complete Paladin’s training program prior to onboarding (company-paid, with a 6-month commitment)

Consultant(e) Senior
En tant que membre Senior de lquipe, le(la) Consultant(e) Senior joue un rle essentiel dans le succs des projets. Il(elle) est la ressource technique principale lors des mandats clients, guide la conception et la mise en uvre de solutions adaptes aux problmatiques des clients, et collabore troitement avec les chefs de projet et autres consultants dItergy pour assurer une livraison efficace et russie des projets denvergure.
Responsabilits du poste
- Participer la dcouverte, lvaluation et la conception de solutions techniques pour les clients dItergy.
- Agir en tant que rfrent technique principal sur les projets et intervenir directement dans la mise en uvre.
- Contribuer la planification de projets au chef de projet, et grer les quipes de livraison.
- Concevoir et animer des ateliers pour dfinir ltendue des projets et les conceptions techniques, en veillant ce que les rsultats rpondent aux exigences et priorits des clients.
- Aider les chefs de projet identifier, minimiser, attnuer, signaler et suivre les risques lis aux projets.
- Participer au dveloppement, la formation et au mentorat des consultants dItergy.
- Animer les runions avec les clients.
- Soutenir les efforts de proposition et de dfinition de la porte des projets.
- Appliquer et faire respecter les mthodologies et meilleures pratiques dItergy, afin de garantir la satisfaction des clients.

Exprience requise
- Minimum 5 annes dexprience dans la mise en uvre dinfrastructures Microsoft, en tant quexpert en Active Directory et chef de file technique.
- Minimum 5 annes dexprience dans lexploitation et le soutien dinfrastructures TI.
- Exprience dans la dfinition de la porte, lanalyse, la conception complexe et la mise en production de solutions.
- Capacit analyser, penser de manire critique, comprendre les processus mtiers des clients et proposer des solutions technologiques adaptes leurs dfis.
- Excellentes comptences en rdaction de documentation.
