Nous faisons également partie du groupe Core Platform, qui développe l’infrastructure du produit phare de Genetec : Security Center. - Dépanner et résoudre les problèmes liés aux services cloud de Genetec et, si nécessaire, les escalader auprès des fournisseurs.

Your team’s dynamic:
Cloud Operations Support is a small team responsible for supporting, monitoring, deploying, and operating one of Genetec’s cloud products. The team works closely with a dedicated development team that builds the tools necessary for our operations. Additionally, we are part of the Core Platform group, which develops the framework for Genetec’s flagship product, Security Center. This close collaboration fosters a proactive dynamic and creates a vibrant and rewarding work atmosphere.
We are a team of four dedicated Operations Specialists who take pride in the quality of our services, knowing they directly contribute to the physical security of our customers.

Your day at a glance:
- Perform Cloud deployments and automation of systems administration tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools.
- Assist the team in testing and replicating customer issues
- Work closely with the Development team to help design and build internal tools.
- Maintaining and managing Cloud resources
- Assist in the provisioning cloud services on customer orders.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues daily, including urgent on-call support during monthly off-hours rotations.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, knowledge transfer material on recurring issues and articles on Genetec’s cloud services.
- Troubleshoot and remediate any problems with Genetec’s cloud services and escalate problems to vendors if required.
What makes you a great fit:
- Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)
- Good knowledge in Security Center software
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrates both autonomy and initiative
- Able to multitask, work iteratively, adjust work priorities, and is results oriented.
- Strong sense of urgency with a desire to constantly learn and evolve at the same pace as the software

Your technical expertise:
- Good troubleshooting skills of Security Center software
- Knowledge in Powershell or any scripting language
- Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP protocols. (DNS, DHCP, VLAN, TCP/IP, NTP, etc.)
- Experience managing, configuring and querying with Microsoft SQL Databases and Azure SQL
An asset if you have:
- Experience with Cloud Computing Platform (Microsoft Azure)
- Knowledge and experience with Server Virtualization technology and concepts
- Practical experience with troubleshooting issues related to server platforms in a Cloud environment

This role will be providing technical support to internal clients by addressing incoming queries and issues related to servers and systems, software, and hardware either in person or over the phone.
Responsibilities:
· Providing technical support to internal and external clients, including problem determination, resolution, and escalation as per the ITSM process
· Assisting customers to diagnose technical issues related to Windows, network, application services, and peripherals
· Documenting all incidents, outages, status, and resolutions in accordance with IT (Information Technology) Service Desk procedures
· Resolving and tracking incidents with network, servers, Windows/Linux OS, application services, and peripherals in accordance with IT Service Desk procedures
· Proactively utilizing IT resources to remain current with technology used in the company IT environment
· Deployment, planning, monitoring, data collection and analysis in customer environments
· Work independently with partner/vendor technical/sales teams to ensure hardware and software resources are available for the projects or users for the successful execution of projects
· Diagnose and trouble shoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware devices
· Performing security administration functions for user access, data access, and remote access
· Issuing timely, accurate, and professional notifications regarding incidents impacting the user community or targeted service consumer
· Proactively managing high severity and priority incidents from identification to resolution
· Collaborating with internal/external IT resources to identify problems and restore services
· Contribute to the business process improvement projects
· Completing other duties or tasks as assigned
· Manage O365 environment for Internal users
· Managing JAMF Environment for internal Mac’s

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar discipline
· 3+ years’ experience in an enterprise IT environment and hands-on experience with large scale enterprise IT rollouts
· Located in Greater Toronto Area, and eligible for Protected B clearance
· Experience in Mac Support and Administration - JAMF
· Experience in Microsoft Administration - O365, Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, Intune
· Demonstrated ability to understand complex IT systems with sufficient depth to troubleshoot highly technical and time sensitive issues
· Experience in ITSM process – incident, change and problem management
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
· Some travel is required for this position
Nice to have:
· Entry level Support/Microsoft/networking certificates such as MS-900, Network + and A+ from CompTIA
· JAMF Certifications
· Some experience with programming & scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
