Position Summary

We seek a highly experienced Senior SWIFT Administrator / Network Manager for a three-month consulting engagement to oversee and execute secure global payment messaging infrastructure. This technical role involves full back-end access to SWIFT messaging systems and includes responsibilities related to secure data transmission between financial institutions, system configuration, and compliance with industry-standard protocols and regulatory requirements.

This role is central to a time-sensitive, high-value transaction project involving the execution of interbank messaging procedures including, but not limited to, MT103, MT202, MT199, and MT799 formats. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with server-to-server bank communication setups and direct communication with receiving and issuing bank compliance officers .

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, monitor and manage all SWIFT-related messaging infrastructure for high-value international transfers

  • Execute message formats including MT103, MT202, MT799, MT199 with compliance to SWIFT FIN/CBPR+ standards

  • Coordinate with the receiving bank to ensure server-to-server communication protocols are securely established

  • Oversee message delivery confirmations (RMA authorizations, SWIFT GPI tracking, acknowledgments)

  • Ensure all communications align with AML, FATF, and Basel compliance standards

  • Maintain audit trail and reporting structures for all transmitted messages

  • Advise AltFunds Global and its legal/treasury partners on optimal timing and sequencing for multi-step wire transactions

  • Liaise directly with counterparty institutions’ compliance and operations departments to confirm acceptance of MT799 pre-advice and MT103/202 final confirmations

  • Provide oversight and documentation in connection with procedures outlined in the ACRB March 2025 Transfer Protocols, including bank-to-bank and server-to-server delivery sequences

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of SWIFT system administration and network management experience within the financial services sector

  • Proven experience managing SWIFT FIN messages: MT103, MT202, MT799, MT199

  • Demonstrated experience in handling secure server-to-server payment messaging configurations between global banking institutions

  • Deep familiarity with payment processing, SWIFT protocols, and interbank transfer controls

  • Understanding of KYC, AML, and international banking compliance frameworks

  • Substantial documentation and reporting capabilities

**About the role**
As a AVP - Client Partner in Banking and Financial Services, you will make an impact by growing revenue for Cognizant by managing clients across multiple banking accounts in the Greater Toronto Area. This role will build CxO level connections and work with the larger Cognizant ecosystem to bring and showcase the best of Cognizant to clients. You will be a valued member of the Banking and Financial Services team and work collaboratively with the larger Cognizant ecosystem to bring and showcase the best of Cognizant to clients, as well as external stakeholders.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Own and manage account P&L greater than $100M USD in Cognizant's Banking and Financial Services group to meet or exceed specific revenue and profitability targets.
+ Act as the leader of the account to drive new, renewal, and expanded business opportunities, revenue streams, profitable growth, and client satisfaction for all Cognizant solution portfolios
+ Provide timely reporting and actionable insights on sales and customer-related issues or concerns, and works with engagement and delivery leadership to resolves outstanding account challenges.
+ Leverage sales insights to motivate service lines to support account growth activities and service innovations.
+ Acts as a trusted adviser to clients, builds and leverages C-level account networks, and maintains excellent client satisfaction on behalf of Cognizant.
+ Formulate winning long-term account growth plans through collaboration with multiple Cognizant stakeholders (service lines, innovation teams, partners, business teams)
+ Drive the communication strategies, events, and coordination requirements needed to maximize collaboration between account and delivery teams.

**What you need to have to be considered**
+ 20+ years of industry domain experience in Banking and Financial Services with at least 10+ years in account management and business development roles.
+ Experience in managing large, multimillion-dollar client P&L (upwards of $100M USD), including reporting and metric assessment.
+ Strong track record of managing different selling contexts, ranging from sales, new sales, sales programs, and existing annuity business.
+ Extensive experience in positioning and selling digital services / solutions.
+ Bachelor's degree in technology or science, or equivalent experience.

+ Experience in off-shore delivery models and in managing globally dispersed teams.

Job Description

Citi's Internal Audit (IA) division provides independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment for key stakeholders including the Board of Directors, senior management and Citi's numerous regulators globally. IA is a change agent within Citi to enhance the control culture of Citigroup worldwide and thereby support senior management decision making around the globe.
IA maintains a Quality Assurance (QA) function that reports to the Citi Chief Auditor and the Group Audit Committee. The QA function provides independent assurance that IA has achieved and is maintaining appropriate standards of internal audit delivery (set against both IA's own internal standards and the Standards and Code of Ethics of the Institute of Internal Auditors).
The role involves close liaison with the global audit teams to ensure appropriate understanding, access to and the correct application of the IA methodology. In this role you will be partnering with the audit teams responsible for Markets, Services, USPB & Wealth coverage, and also supporting the global QA team across all regions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Operate independently as a QA partner for Markets, Services, USPB and Wealth global teams and forming partnerships at all levels within IA. Support the QA Director (QAD) in fostering a strong QA partnership with the IA Chief Auditor and leadership team.
+ Lead QA reviews and provide assurance over the quality of IA's work via formal QA products (e.g., Scorecards, Thematic Reviews, Hot reviews, and Targeted Reviews)
+ Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the assigned audit teams on methodology-related matters by leveraging experiencing and using professional judgement.
+ Be a change agent in the continuous improvement program to deliver and maintain a best in class QA function, sharing best practices and lessons learned with the IA teams
+ Contribute to continued improvement in IA methodology and coverage through the delivery of QA products.
+ Lead and coordinate delivery of methodology training to auditors, including tailored training as and when needed.
+ Assist the QAD by leading reviews of Audit Reports, Issue Validation Work papers, and other IA products.
+ Establish and consistently maintain professional working relationship with IA Directors and CAs; assist the QAD in maintaining IA stakeholder communications through monthly meetings as assigned by the QAD.
+ Assist with periodic ad-hoc projects (e.g., research and development of QA specific training).
+ Assist the QAD in reviewing key internal QA deliverables and external deliverables.
+ Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet strict deadlines, both internal and external (e.g., regulators).
+ Willingness to assist other QADs on an ad-hoc basis to ensure consistent utilization.
**Key skills and qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of experience in a related role
+ Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred
+ Demonstrated success in business, functional and people management
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
+ Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
+ Effective negotiation skills
