Compensation is a base salary supplemented by commission.

Purpose:
Sells new and used John Deere turf equipment & BRP equipment to new and existing customers.

  • Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area

    The Quality Engineer  will evaluate and/or appraise supplier's manufacturing capabilities to baseline their processes for conformance to various documented commodity checklists, and/or QMS special processes. Establishes part quality evaluation plans from materials requests through material receipt (full life-cycle). Provides resolution and disposition of non-conformance materials to ensure adequate corrective action.
     

    US Citizenship is required and must live within 50 miles of Delta, BC

    • The Quality Engineer  is highly supplier-focused, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) to manage supplier quality assurance responsibilities and ensure compliance across and at all levels of the organization on major programs from design through production stages.
    • Evaluation of manufacturing functions and processes to ensure Quality Standards are in place
    • Evaluation of inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
    • Participate in QMS Audits for process deficiency and correction.
    • Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
    • Interact in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
    • Involved in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
    • Will have 'hands-on' knowledge and experience of mechanical (Machine Shop) components, assembly, subsystem and system level concepts.
    • Strong emphasis on RCCA and CAPA experience.
    • Understanding of FMEA and Process Improvements and Standardization of Processes

    Required Skills:

    • Minimum 3-5 years with LEAN Manufacturing Application experience.
    • 3-5 years' experience in areas of Quality Engineering such as: FMEA, SPC, RCCA, Process Control, Product Evaluation and Auditing
    • 2-3 years' working knowledge and experience with ISO9100 and AS9100 QMS Processes, especially in Production and Quality Engineering
    • 2-3 years' working knowledge and experience with Aircraft Parts and Material Conformity Inspections
    • 3-5 years FAI experience with AS9102 (FAI) Protocol
    • 3-5 years' knowledge and experience with inspection methods, techniques and protocols.
    • 3-5 years' experience in understanding and the application of Engineering Mechanical Processes, Standard Drawings Conventions, Interpreting Drawing Specifications (ANSI 14.5) and GD&T
    • 3-5 years' experience in understanding and the application of Electronic Assembly Process and Inspection, Standard Conventions (IPC-610, J-Std-1000), Interpreting Schematic Diagrams and Specifications
    • Airframe experience required
    • AVMS electronic experience required
    • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
    • Reliable transportation must have current/active drivers' license
    • Valid drivers license and auto insurance required

    Job Description
    As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will report to the Sr. Manager of Maintenance Operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft maintenance. This position requires you to conduct maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, modifications, and installations, and conduct functional tests on electrical systems and components.
    Responsibilities
    + Conduct maintenance, modifications, and repairs on company aircraft as assigned.
    + Utilize documentation such as AMM, SRM, IPC, SBs, and SLs for maintenance tasks.
    + Support aircraft discrepancy rectification at various bases.
    + Report any unserviceable or unsafe conditions and equipment to the supervisor.
    + Compile and assist in the reporting of Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs).
    + Participate actively in the company's Safety Management System (SMS).
    + Ensure all tooling is current and serviceable; maintain up-to-date documentation.
    + Verify that parts used for maintenance have the appropriate paperwork or trace.
    + Maintain good housekeeping of company facilities and equipment and report any deficiencies.
    + Provide training and direction to other technicians and learners.
    + Communicate and liaise with maintenance control regarding aircraft deferrals and status.
    + Maintain an AME M2 license and comply with all training requirements.
    + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    We are currently seeking a full-time licensed M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with a preference for AME’s that have worked on TPE331 turboprop or similar engines, Cessna 441 and/or Reims f406 aircraft.


    Main Duties include:

    • Manage digital maintenance platform (RAAS)
    • Conduct maintenance on fleet aircraft or aircraft components in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness.
    • Accurately complete maintenance paperwork and data entry
    • Track and plan maintenance under the guidance of the Director of Aircraft Maintenance
    • Travel to aircraft to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
    • Troubleshoot issues as applicable
    • Manage inventory


    Requirements:

    • Safety minded
    • Valid AME License a MUST
    • Ability to obtain US A&P License a MUST
    • Travel throughout US and Canada to perform maintenance on site
    • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
    • Strong computer skills
    • Proven observational, decision-making and time management skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven leadership skills
    • M1 Licensed AME or an M2 Licensed AME willing to obtain M1 License
