The Business Intelligence Senior Analyst is responsible for guiding the Digital product teams through the analysis of complex mobile app and web performance data. This role requires the creation of customer centric solutions/approaches driven by data analysis, business insight, creativity, and effective communication. This position requires a solid understanding of the ability to create reports, dashboards, critical metrics and data visualization using Power BI and Tableau through advanced SQL. This position will also participate in the development and QA of data collection, as well as administration of standardized reports to be used across business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Support the analytic needs of the business by using data from various sources (e.g. call centers, SAP, Adobe, & Business Objects).
• Design, implement, and support modern data solutions with Azure technologies and Snowflake.
• Create comprehensive dashboards from different data sources for presentations to senior management and product working teams.
• Lead the process of driving and surfacing core insights from available data and create strategies to improve the customer experience & performance.
• Early involvement in enterprise projects to define reporting needs & incorporating those needs into the system design.
• Provide guidance and strategy with data curation, ETL process, leading and supporting complex data pipelines.
• Present analysis & strategies to senior management in verbal & written forms.
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4-7 years Experience with data intelligence tools (e.g. Azure Data Studio, Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform, Redshift, Adobe Analytics.
• 4-7 years Experience in reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
• 2-4 years Experience in online e-commerce or on-line support environments.
• 2-4 years Experience in advanced SQL, scripting languages such as Python and ETL process to support complex data pipelines.
• 2-4 years Experience with data warehousing methodologies and modeling techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Finance, Data Science or Similar Degree required

Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Officer

Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Director, Prospect Research.

Position Mandate: The Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Officer will be a key team member responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and optimization of our fundraising systems, as well as providing accurate business and donor intelligence that informs leadership and team decision-making in support of our fundraising efforts for a university in Israel.

Key Responsibilities will include :

• Analyze, interpret, and synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data into customized reports and presentations for leadership and fundraisers
• Evaluate and track sector trends, business forecasts, and philanthropic campaigns, sharing with team members via daily media reviews, team check-ins, and prospect review meetings
• Collaborate with the major gifts, annual, and events to ensure proper database segmentation for fundraising campaigns and initiatives, leveraging prospect data and insights to inform strategy and optimize fundraising
• Work closely with our annual program lead on the data analytics and segmentation required to advance our fundraising efforts
• Develop systems and dashboards to track proposal success rates, trends, and financial forecasting
• Monitor overall system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure the efficient operation and optimization of our fundraising systems through our CRM (Raiser’s Edge NXT), including data entry, data integrity, dashboards, and reporting forecasting
• Work closely with the Director, Prospect Research, to ensure our CRM processes are fit for purpose and/or develop, enhance, document, and provide training where they are not

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in business, data and information systems, fundraising/development operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal training and experience

• Build internal scripts and toolkits to automate data extraction, transformation, and validation.

• Develop workflows for importing data into SmartRec via APIs or automation tools. 

• Use AI frameworks (OpenAI, LangChain, HuggingFace, etc.) to enhance data mapping and cleaning. 

• Automate parsing of unstructured data (PDFs, CSVs) and validate data integrity. 

• Collaborate with Data Solutions Consultants to identify bottlenecks and build scalable solutions. 

• Document tools and deliver internal training to drive adoption. 

• Stay ahead of emerging tech in AI, automation, and integrations.
