**As a Custodian/ Janitor, you will:**
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
- Dust and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement
- Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces.
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff

**About you:**

Makola Housing Society (MHS) is searching for two (2) casual, on-call employees who are eager to learn, interested in cross-training in a variety of departments, and have a flexible schedule to support the residents living in the Jesken Aerie Assisted Living Facility. The successful incumbents will have the ability to accept a variety of different shifts throughout the week and will have the flexibility to accept shifts that start in the morning, the evening, or overnight.
Position Summary
As the casual, on-call staff member, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in a variety of different departments and shifts, including Front Desk Clerk, Kitchen Assistant, Dining Room Server, and Housekeeper. Youll utilize a diverse range of skills in each department while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service throughout your day. Each shift works hard to maintain a clean environment and to ensure the safety and positive experience of all residents, guests, and staff members.
The casual, on-call shifts are as follows:
