**How you will make an impact:**
You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining common areas and sleeping quarters in a camp setting.

**As a Camp Attendant, you will:**

* Vacuum, dust all room furniture, blinds including hallway window frames, door frames, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, picture frames
* Wash, scrub and sanitize showers, sinks, toilets, door handles, fridges, sink knobs, chair handles, drawer handles, drawer surfaces, blind wands, shower heads, shower ledges, medicine cabinets, closet handles, TV remotes, desk, desk shelves, bed light and switches.
* Empty garbage and recycle daily and disinfect the containers
* Keep laundry room clean and organized
* Maintain cleaning of guest hallways by vacuuming and mopping daily
* Organize storage and linen rooms, housekeeping carts cleaned and ready for the next person
* Ensure good order and maintenance of all equipment by immediately reporting any deficiencies to supervisors

**About you:**

* Minimum of 3 months’ janitorial and/or housekeeping experience in hospitality, healthcare, and residential/commercial cleaning
* First Aid and WHMIS training certified
* Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
* Capable of communicating in English (listening speaking, reading, writing) with clients, co-workers, and management
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Title: Manager, Travel & Camp

Reporting to the General Manager Eskay Creek, The Manager, Travel & Camp, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of travel logistics and camp operations supporting the Eskay Creek project. This includes leadership of the Travel and Camp Services teams, ensuring smooth and safe travel for all personnel, efficient contractor management, and high standards of living conditions at site. This role is pivotal in ensuring workforce safety and well-being, operational continuity, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic and remote environment.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and manage the Travel and Camp Services teams.
  • Foster a culture of service, accountability, and respect, both within the department and with external service providers.

Travel Logistics Oversight

  • Oversee all travel logistics for site personnel, including flights, bus services, vehicle rentals, and shuttles to local communities.
  • Analyze and evaluate potential travel logistics scenarios (e.g., flight schedules, ground transport models, camp capacity adjustments), and present data-driven recommendations to management to support operational and cost-effective decision-making.
  • Resolve escalated issues related to travel disruptions with decisiveness and professionalism.
  • Maintain and improve systems for booking, check-in, and employee roster tracking, including use of INX InFlight.

Camp Operations Management

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality camp operations including catering, housekeeping, janitorial, and accommodations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and employee well-being.
  • Support emergency response protocols related to travel or camp infrastructure.

Contract and Vendor Management

  • Lead contract tendering and contractor management for all travel and camp service scopes, including but not limited to charter flights, coach buses, passenger shuttles, catering, and housekeeping.   • Monitor service contracts, ensuring strong vendor performance, cost control, and compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

Education / Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, logistics, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a collaborative approach.

Work Location & Conditions

This is a site-based camp job at Eskay Creek Mine site. This position involves working at a remote mine site on a 15 days on/13 days off rotation.

The Eskay Creek Revitalization Project is located within the Coast Mountains of Northwestern British Columbia and Tahltan Territory. Ground transportation will be provided from local communities to the Eskay Creek Site facilities. For those applicants located elsewhere in western Canada, flight transportation from major urban centers will be provided to the Terrace or Smithers airports, from which shuttles will provide transportation to the Eskay Creek Camp facilities. Travel time and expenses are subject to Skeena’s Travel Policy.

There will be exposure to extreme temperatures in all seasons including working outdoors in snow, mud, ice, and water conditions, walking to and from different locations on uneven ground, prolonged periods of standing and physically handling/lifting/moving heavy objects.

All Applicants MUST be legally entitled to work in Canada. Priority hiring consideration will be given to Indigenous Nations members who reside within the territories our projects are located.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is CA$140,000- CA$170,000 , in line with the competitive job market for such roles carried out in British Columbia. Reporting to the Camp Manager, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for the light maintenance in a camp setting to ensure the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the camp facilities.

**Job Description**
**WHAT''S THE JOB?**
Reporting to the Camp Manager, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for the light maintenance in a camp setting to ensure the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the camp facilities.
**The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a camp setting with the following amenities:**
All meals and accommodations are provided
Travel is provided to and from the site locations from designated locations in the Thunder Bay and surrounding area
Private room with cable television
Access to Wi-Fi
Access to laundry facilities and detergents
Access to a gym and common areas
**Key responsibilities include:**
Perform scheduled maintenance checks on assets in the camp setting such as changing light bulbs, doors, taps, etc.
Troubleshoot maintenance issues as they arise (plugged toilets, leaking faucets, broken or damaged appliances/equipment, HVAC systems, etc.)
Complete light carpentry duties u2022 Inspecting, cleaning, and replacing filters as required
Remove garbage from dorms and disposing at designated garbage site daily
Snow removal as required
Assisting janitorial and housekeeping staff in heavy lifting and other tasks
Data entry of all maintenance related issues and repairs
**Qualifications**
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
Related maintenance experience in remote lodge setting or hotel/institutional environment/ construction setting is required
Valid G Class or Class 5 Drivers License and clean abstract is strongly preferred
Knowledge of and experience using light power tools is required
A team-player who is committed to providing client satisfaction
Ability to prioritize multiple task demands and organize a work schedule
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft applications and use of maintenance reporting software
Ability to handle the following physical demands:
Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs
Climb ladders or stairs
Stand, walk, squat, kneel or sit according to task for extended periods of time
Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands
Work with arms above shoulder height

**Work schedule and remuneration:**
Maintenance Workers work on a rotational schedule of 3 weeks on/3 weeks off. Site locations are in remote settings, requiring either air travel to site, or via ground on our shuttle. You may be required to work nights, weekdays, weekends, and general holidays. Wages are paid on a daily basis ranging from $300.00 - $335.00, dependent on skillset and experience.

Tâches et responsabilités essentielles :

* Préparer, précuire et/ou cuire les produits alimentaires selon les directives.
* Préparer la « mise en place » (des aliments, garnitures, sauces, assiettes, ustensiles, etc.), ainsi que d’autres produits tel que requis pour une production de volume élevé.
* Nettoyer l’équipement de cuisine après utilisation conformément aux politiques et procédures de santé et sécurité.
* Étiqueter, dater, entreposer les aliments et les boissons dans les aires d’entreposage appropriées, ainsi que d’en effectuer la rotation.
* Communiquer efficacement avec tous les services opérationnels appropriés.

**Job Summary**
---

Prepares food in accordance with applicable corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Maintain a clean and neat appearance.
* Undergo job specific and company safety training.
* Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
* Maintains an awareness of ESS ’s contractual obligations for the project relating to the department.
* Responsible for ensuring all staff are compliant in maintaining and completing all HACCP and Temperature logs. Responsible for submitting logs to the chef at end of shift.
* Oversees stocking of all food serving areas according to the number of persons to be served.,
* Prepares and cooks food according to standardized recipes.
* Operates food services equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.
* Maintains established food rotations in storage to minimize spoilage and waste.
* Cleans and sanitizes work area and equipment. Maintains and completes cleaning logs and checklists.
* Communicates with supervisor and other staff members to resolve problems and/or concerns.
* Assists in serving meals, remaining present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
* Serve customers quickly and courteously using proper service techniques and portioning.
* Trains and directs subordinate food service workers, ensuring compliance with company and client safety requirements.
* Supervises subordinate staff to ensure the highest sanitary standards are maintained in all food serving and storage areas in accordance with company, client, and governmental requirements.
* Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established for the job.
* Represents Company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions.
* Ability to interact with customers to assure customer satisfaction.
* Ensure good order and maintenance of all equipment by immediately reporting and deficiencies to maintenance.
* Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
* Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
* Performs duties in the safest possible manner and reports all incidents and health & safety concerns to the supervisor or manager.
* All other duties as assigned.

* Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
* Familiar with industry’s best practices.
