Qualifications:
- University degree or diploma from a recognized institution with a specialty in environmental engineering, agrology, conservation and reclamation, or geoscience
- Five to ten years of consulting or industry experience in environmental site assessment and reclamation
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, with a relevant professional organization (e.g. APEGA, APEGS, AIA, ASPB)
- Professional designation or potential to obtain professional designation from a professional association in Alberta and Saskatchewan (e.g. APEGA, APEGS, AIA, ASPB)
- Proficient with Alberta regulations and guidelines related to surface reclamation
- Proficiency with both the Alberta 2010 Forested Criteria for Wellsites and Associated Facilities and the Reclamation Criteria for Wellsites and Associated Facilities for Peatlands (2017)
- Familiarity with BC restoration guidelines and best practices is an asset
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills

- Provide measurable technical support to the community relations team that improves engagement outcomes with Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.
- Lead or support strategic initiatives in water quality management, biodiversity, terrestrial effects, and mine closure planning with measurable risk reduction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field; professional registration (EP, P.Ag, R.P.Bio, or equivalent) preferred.
- 5+ years experience in regulatory approvals and compliance, preferably within mining.
- Proven ability to lead complex permitting processes and manage multiple, concurrent applications (e.g., Notices of Work, MA/EMA amendments, WSA, Fisheries Act authorizations).
- Track record of meeting deadlines and budgets on major permitting initiatives.
- Strong technical writing, data analysis, and project management skills.
- Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with regulators, Indigenous groups, and other external stakeholders.

- Performs aseptic gowning qualification and maintains personnel qualifications.

- Ensures all EM documentation is complete and available for approval ensuring the highest quality of data integrity are met utilizing good documentation practices (GDP)
- Assist with maintaining equipment and laboratory cleaning schedules as deemed appropriate by internal governing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science (bioengineering, chemical engineering, bioprocess, biotechnology, cell biology, microbiology, chemistry, etc.). Microbiology background is preferred.
- 2-4 years of industry experience in a cell therapy/viral quality department supporting GMP production or similar within the pharmaceutical, medical technologies, biologics or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of aseptic/sterile environments and technologies.

Environmental monitoring (EM) is an enabling function and, as such, this role will support production, and facility needs to ensure business needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers microbiology-related services including environmental monitoring, sample management, testing, and equipment management.
- Collaborates with the Production team to support the requirements of sampling to align with the production schedule
- Maintains the EM program including (but not limited to): ensuring scheduling of all Grade A, B, C and D samples to meet the sample collection frequency requirements as set forth by internal procedures, ensuring samples are read and documentation is submitted in a timely manner
- Manages sample management to the third-party testing by approved testing partners
- Performs aseptic gowning qualification and maintains personnel qualifications.
- Provides in-suite and on-the-floor support for OmniaBio’ s manufacturing teams, where applicable
- Ensures all EM documentation is complete and available for approval ensuring the highest quality of data integrity are met utilizing good documentation practices (GDP)
- Assist with maintaining equipment and laboratory cleaning schedules as deemed appropriate by internal governing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science (bioengineering, chemical engineering, bioprocess, biotechnology, cell biology, microbiology, chemistry, etc.). Microbiology background is preferred.
- 2-4 years of industry experience in a cell therapy/viral quality department supporting GMP production or similar within the pharmaceutical, medical technologies, biologics or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of aseptic/sterile environments and technologies.
- Excellent understanding GMP regulations and good laboratory practices (GLP) and GDP principles.
