Job Description

Postulez maintenant.

*Seul les candidats retenus seront contactés*

    In English

At Harris Healthcare, we’re looking for bright, motivated, and creative minds to help transform healthcare software.

As a UI Designer , you’ll work closely with fellow designers, product managers, and clients to design, prototype, and test innovative user experiences. From early ideation to usability testing, you’ll be involved throughout the entire design lifecycle. This is about building complex, meaningful systems — not just designing websites.

If you're excited to shape the next generation of healthcare software, we’d love to hear from you. But if you're satisfied with the status quo… this may not be your role.

    What we are looking for:

  • Strong background in application UI design
  • Experience using UI design standards and techniques such as ISO or the User Experience Honeycomb
  • Experience facilitating UI workshops with end users and stakeholders and with usability testing methodologies such as think aloud protocols
  • Deeply familiar with current and emerging UI paradigms with the ability to think creatively to drive towards new approaches
  • Knowledge of tools to support the breadth of needs; from prototyping tools to measuring UX efficiency
  • Ability to extrapolate from detailed workshops on specific topics to wider system design direction to contribute to the design book
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good command of French and English is required, as the incumbent will have to communicate frequently in both languages, both orally and in writing. We have colleagues, customers and partners in Quebec, as well as in the rest of Canada and the United States.
  • What will make you stand out:

  • Experience designing applications in the healthcare space
  • Experience with Agile development including use of Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with major form factors including laptop, tablet and smart phone
  • Creativity to execute workshops entirely remotely
  • What we offer:

  • Career advancement opportunities
  • Full medical, dental and vision coverage
  • 3 weeks vacation and five personal days
  • Employee stock ownership plan and RRSP/401(k) matching programs
  • Lifestyle rewards
  • Community involvement and social responsibility
  • Fun, collaborative work environment
  • Flexible work options
  • If you understand clinical systems and workflows — and you're ready to rethink them — this opportunity is for you.

Ready to make a real impact in digital healthcare? Apply now.

*Only successful candidates will be contacted*.
