We are growing and with 100+ team members we are seeking exceptional registered Cardiovascular Technologists for full time and part time positions to provide outstanding cardiac care and diagnostics for our community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately perform and analyze regular Stress Tests, Stress Echos, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors, Holter Monitors, Scanning and ECGs
- Produce comprehensive reports and prepare results for the Cardiologist
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following established protocols, documenting results and reporting any abnormalities
- Communicate abnormal test results to the cardiologist/doctor in a clear and concise manner
- Maintain equipment and supplies in cardiovascular testing and procedures, including calibration, cleaning, and troubleshooting
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Cardiovascular Technologist Diploma
- Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) membership in good standing
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience
- Valid CPR certificate
- Must be proficient in ECG interpretation
- Ability to use EMR proficiently
- Ability to follow emergency protocols
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment
- Excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and physicians
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality guidelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment or procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of the CVT team and collaboratively with One Heart Care employees
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Adherence to PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act)

Overview and Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Director of Clinics, Perioperative and Procedures, the OR Manager at Schroeder Ambulatory Centre will bring a creative and innovative leadership style, and use their sound judgment and strong leadership abilities to develop and lead a department committed to delivering efficient, high-quality patient care.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff education, quality management, resource utilization, financial and human resource management, and the resolution of patient care issues, problems, and concerns.
- Develop and motivate a cohesive team by creating a supportive environment for patients, staff, and physicians, while fostering inter-professional collaboration, team development, and mutual respect.
- Build and maintain strong, dynamic relationships with internal stakeholders and external organizations.
- Successfully identify and implement innovative changes to the care delivery model, enhancing operational efficiency and promoting seamless, integrated care while supporting the full scope of professional practice.
- Lead quality and special projects within the OR, manage and analyze budgets, control inventory levels, oversee equipment and supply procurement, and plan for innovative use of material resources.
Corporate Responsibilities:
- Participate in all mandatory training requirements and work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Schroeder Ambulatory Centre Policies and Procedures, as well as established industry guidelines (for all positions)
- Be responsible for and ensure that all staff supervised are trained and work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Schroeder Ambulatory Centre Policies and Procedures, as well as established industry guidelines
Education, Skills, & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Perioperative Services/Operating Room.
- Recent and relevant managerial experience in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated success in leading initiatives, developing policies, inspiring creativity and innovation, and building consensus to achieve set goals in alignment with program and organizational priorities.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to proactively identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
- Proven ability to work effectively and maintain composure under pressure, while managing multiple and competing deadlines.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Ability to provide proof of immunization and TB screening records.
