We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual who will join our team of employees who uphold an exceptionally high standard of service.As a member of the delivery team you will be responsible for the careful handling of heavy merchandise, efficient delivery and set-up of all products in the customer's home.
Job Description
As part of the delivery team, you will be providing in-home delivery and set-up of furniture and appliances, including removal of packaging and arranging products in accordance with customer requests. The position also requires warehousing work, including, but not limited to, locating, picking, offloading, receiving and loading trucks. The delivery routes include The delivery team works together with all departments to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Position Overview
- Drive and work with delivery partners to ensure safe and efficient delivery of all products with an exceptional customer service attitude.
- Safely and efficiently move products to and from our trucks to the customers home.
- Assembly of products where required, loading/unloading / receiving goods in the warehouse and removal of debris.
- Walking/ carrying/ lifting/ pushing/ gripping/ bending/ climbing stairs/ squatting/ kneeling/ body twisting/ standing. The weights required to lift vary.
- Communicating efficiently with other departments when service solutions are required.
- Providing assistance and backup for the warehouse when required.
- Follow all company employment & health and safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class G drivers license.
- All successful applicants agree to a Ontario Drivers Abstract record check.
- Experience in driving / delivery / customer service is preferred.
- Must be able to follow SOPs .
- Must have demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter, work collaboratively and cohesively with peers and leaders.
- Must be trainable in WHMIS, Workplace Violence & Harassment training, AODA and Safety Awareness Training.
- Must be able to work shifts of varying hours including Saturdays.

A Day in the life of a Delivery Specialist:
- Build superior customer sales experiences by welcoming and engaging customers in person, over the phone, and by email
