About the Role:
TreeHouse Foods has an outstanding opportunity for a Director, Customer and Category Manager. The Director will lead strategic customer management, drive revenue and profit growth, and develop new business opportunities.
This role oversees a portfolio of customers, ensuring strong relationships and performance against key metrics. This role will lead the Customer Business Manager (CBM) team, collaborate cross-functionally, and champion TreeHouse values while aligning internal teams with customer and channel priorities.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Own and develop key customer relationships, ensuring delivery of revenue and margin objectives.
- Lead and coach the CBM team, overseeing capability development, forecasting, and account assignments.
- Align divisional and customer priorities, guiding the CBM team on where and how to execute in line with business unit strategies.
- Collaborate with business unit teams and category leadership to leverage subject matter expertise and insights.
- Partner with the VP to implement TreeHouse strategies and build customer/channel-specific growth plans.
- Manage customer and CBM actions that impact P&L performance, including terms, trade, deductions, mix, merchandising, and distressed inventory.
- Drive accuracy in forecasting and performance tracking, holding full ownership of customer/channel P&L.
- Influence internal and external scorecard metrics and communication strategies.
- Serve as a key communication link between customers (Directors, Replenishment, Buyers), TreeHouse leadership (VPs, GMs), and CBMs.
- This is a full-time, remote role on first shift.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Ten or more years of experience in sales, manufacturing, and the food industry with a minimum of five years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with a strategic mindset and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit goals.
- Skilled in developing innovative, results-driven solutions in complex or ambiguous environments.

Role Expectations
First Month
- Get to know Collabwares product, customers, and current marketing channels
- Audit past campaigns, ads, events, and messaging for MQL generation effectiveness
- Build relationships with Sales, Product, and Customer Success
- Assess current ICP definition and target market approach
First Few Months
- Plan and launch your first integrated campaign focused on MQL generation
- Refine our ICP and develop targeted marketing strategies
- Define our advertising and event calendar for the next 612 months
- Begin building pipeline contribution and campaign performance dashboards
- Implement AI tools and workflows to enhance marketing efficiency
First Year
- Establish a high-performing marketing engine with scalable campaigns, consistent branding, and measurable MQL results
- Elevate our presence at key conferences and events with clear lead generation outcomes
- Deliver consistent pipeline support and long-term brand growth through a diverse channel mix
- Demonstrate measurable impact on sales funnel performance and revenue growth

The Hiring Process

- Next, you will be invited to a 90-minute behavioral & skills interview with the CEO and another senior member of the team. Here, well dive a bit more into your experiences and run through sample scenarios. This will also be a great opportunity to ask all your questions to the team!
- The next step in the process is a Team Fit Interview, where you will get a chance to meet a diverse group of your potential future colleagues! We take a great deal of pride in the culture we are trying to foster, and we want to make sure youll fit right in. Bring all the questions you can think of about the team!
- The final stage a one-on-one meeting with our CEO. Here, youll chat about the role and the company vision. If you are in the Vancouver area, this meeting will typically be done over lunch.
