icus Education Inc. is currently seeking passionate and qualified teachers to join our high school division. We are hiring Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) or educators with 5+ years of proven experience in CIE(Cambridge)- IGCSE and A-Level instruction.
Position Type:
• Full-time or part-time
• Online or in-person teaching options available
Course: ENGLISH, MATH, PHYSICS, BUSINESS, ECO, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach high school courses in OSSD, IGCSE, or A-Level programs, either online or in person.
2. Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the Ontario Curriculum.
3. Prepare and support the school’s compliance with Ontario Ministry of Education inspections.
4. Develop teaching materials for various subjects.
5. Design and write assessments, including quizzes, tests, and final exams.
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Teaching Certification (OCT) OR
• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching CIE IGCSE and/or A-Level courses
• Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken)
• Familiarity with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) curriculum is an asset
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
