We are looking for an experienced Class 1 / Class 3 Driver(s) to operate a Rock truck with the pup to deliver gravel, shale, and dirt to various locations throughout Calgary. Your day will begin and end at our shop in the SE part of the city. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the green industry!
This is a seasonal position from April to Nov, winter snow removal positions may be available.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adheres to company policy, safety policy, and Highway Traffic Act.
- Performs regular maintenance such as greasing and checking fluid levels daily.
- Performs daily pre-trip checks.
- Pull the pup and trailer and tie down equipment properly and safely.
- Perform minor repairs.
- In and out of the vehicle on a frequent basis to the site location and unloading location.
Experience/Skill Requirements:
- 3 years of experience operating Class 1 or Class 3 trucks.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
- MUST Possess a CLEAN driver’s abstract.
- Has knowledge of the City of Calgary.
- Able to work Monday through Saturday varying from 8-12 hours per day.
