CLEANING LAB/CLEAN ROOM TECHNICIAN
This position can be for either an entry level, mature student, or a recent graduate of a chemical technician program that is interested in gaining experience in a small laboratory setting or for a more senior person who will become the manager of the team. The candidate must be familiar with handling chemicals and will have successfully completed WHMIS training.
JOB CONTENT
- Assist in the conduct of specialized parts cleaning technologies using a variety of solvents, chemicals, ultrasonic baths and mechanical cleaning by hand. li>Perform labelling and packaging of cleaned components.
- Operate drying ovens
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards of clean rooms.
- Conduct a variety of other activities in support of ongoing cleaning lab and clean room activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good manual dexterity and vision, ability to clean and inspect small high -precision parts
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle a fast paced production environment
- Ability to learn new processes and the use of new equipment.
- Ability to independently perform assignments from written work orders instructions.
- Proficiency in basic computer use.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
- Experience with inspection, cleaning, and handling of precision components.
- Procedural knowledge and previous experience working in a clean room environment an asset.
- Familiar with handling chemicals and will have successfully completed WHMIS training
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures

Work Location & Schedule
Based out of our Divisional Office at 9440 202 St. #215, Langley Twp, BC V1M 4A6 Langley, BC, this role requires frequent travel to branches outside the Lower Mainland, with regular driving (4–6 hours per day) and occasional air travel. While some duties will be completed in an office or at a computer, much of the work is on the road, meeting with customers and branch teams. Flexibility is essential; you’ll need to be available outside of standard branch hours for calls, e-mails, and to attend networking or relationship-building events.

What to expect in the role
Sales Growth
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting both new and existing customers.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and secure buy-in on proposed solutions.
- Increase sales of energy products through an in-depth understanding of customer needs and product benefits.
- Maintain accurate opportunities and activity records in Salesforce.
Customer Service
- Maintain positive, solution-focused relationships with customers.
- Conduct regular in-person or virtual visits to identify needs and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, suppliers, and technical teams to ensure clarity on project specifications.
- Stay current on rebate programs, clean energy incentives, and industry trends to better serve customers.
Branch & Internal Support
- Provide product expertise, recommendations, and technical support to branch personnel.
- Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations for staff and customers.
- Work jointly with sales teams to build customised Lighting & Clean Energy packages.
Quotations & Project Support
- Conduct site audits, create single-line drawings, and determine project specifications.
- Prepare and present quotations and follow up on leads and opportunities.
Program & Incentive Champion
- Keep up to date with utility and government incentive programs.
- Prepare required documentation and complete rebate applications for customers.
Training & Quality Control
- Develop and deliver training materials and “lunch and learns.”
- Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction by identifying and addressing quality issues.
Ideal candidate profile
- Diploma or degree in an applicable field (BSc) or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of sales experience in the electrical wholesale industry or related clean energy/lighting/power distribution field.
- 2+ years of project management experience with design and quotations.
- Certified Energy Manager or LC Certification is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of EV Charging systems, clean energy products, or power distribution is a strong asset.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially Excel, with an ability to learn new technical software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Reliable transportation.

Primary Responsibilities:
Vehicle Cleaning & Preparation:
- Operate the automatic car wash system to clean customer vehicles.
- Perform quick interior cleaning, including wiping down the dashboard, door panels, and center console.
- Vacuum carpets and seats to maintain a clean interior.
- Clean and shine rims to enhance the vehicle’s appearance.
- Wash vehicles and floor mats as required.
Quality & Efficiency:
- Ensure all cleaning and detailing tasks are completed to the highest quality standards.
- Perform cleanup operations efficiently and in a timely manner.
Customer & Dealership Support:
- Safely bring customer vehicles to the service delivery area after cleaning.
- Assist customers and provide shuttle rides when requested by the Service Manager, Service Advisors, or support staff.
General Dealership Assistance:
- Support the snow crew with snow removal duties when needed.
- Assist with window tint removal as required.
- Help technicians with various duties as assigned by management.
- Perform general tasks and dealership support duties as requested.
Safe Driving & Vehicle Handling:
- Operate all vehicles safely, following traffic rules and road conditions.
- Maintain a professional and careful approach while handling customer and dealership vehicles.
