We are a growing commercial cleaning company looking to partner with experienced subcontractors who are dependable, detail-oriented, and want steady cleaning accounts. We are particularly seeking subcontractors with a small to medium team for specific projects in the Kamloops area.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trauma Cleaning Technician. The Trauma Cleaning Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively cleaning and restoring properties affected by trauma, crime scenes, biohazard incidents, and other sensitive situations. This role requires a high level of professionalism, empathy, and the ability to handle emotionally challenging environments with discretion and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform trauma cleaning and biohazard remediation services in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Safely and efficiently remove biohazardous materials, including blood, bodily fluids, and other contaminants, from affected areas.
• Clean and sanitize affected surfaces, including walls, floors, ceilings, and personal belongings.
• Dispose of biohazardous waste in compliance with government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients and their families at all times.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal and team safety.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Perform restoration duties as needed, including but not limited to equipment set up and monitoring, water extraction, and more.
• Respond to emergency calls outside of regular working hours in accordance with on-call schedule.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of cleanup protocols and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in emotionally challenging and sensitive environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Location: Vernon, Lake Country & Kelowna Area

Daytime M-F Residential Cleaning

You will start by working with an experienced trainer and learn many of the routine cleaning tasks required. Once you are fully trained you will work on your own. You will be expected to drive to each site scheduled, arrive prepared, organized and on time with all the cleaning supplies and equipment provided. You will follow our safety protocols and check-in and out of each site. You will be provided a detailed list of instructions customized to each client. Once complete you will leave the home secure and cleaned as specified.

Currently offering part-time, approximately 15-30 hours per week to start, however the position may lead to full-time.
