As a Relationship Manager you will work on a two person team with an Analyst to manage a portfolio of mid-market Commercial relationships. As the face of the Bank to your clients, you will establish yourself as a trusted business advisor who is sought after for guidance regarding matters relating to the credit facilities that are supporting the client's business strategy. You will also add value by identifying opportunities and opening doors that will enhance the scope of the overall banking relationship.
To that end the position develops and executes a relationship strategy for each client, identifying the key issues surrounding the relationship and implement a strategy to facilitate the expansion of our partnership with the business. You'll also broaden your sphere of influence by developing relationships with industry and other external contacts to generate additional new business opportunities through referrals as well as a targeted calling program.
Acquiring new relationships and volumes by obtaining referrals from internal and external sources and by conducting a targeted calling program is your major job accountability. You feel comfortable in a team-based business environment where you are expected to balance sales, cross selling, servicing and referrals to Business Partners.
Job Requirements :
Successful Relationship Managers have the proven ability to continually generate new business and grow an existing portfolio of Commercial Large Business clients. An RM must be comfortable executing an independent marketing plan that includes considerable portions of time being devoted to a call program and developing self generated leads. In addition, in order that the RM can identify quality business opportunities they must have experience analyzing and structuring commercial credit.
In addition to your undergraduate/graduate degree in business or relevant professional designation, you ideally have 2-3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Account Manager in a business or banking environment. Alternatively you may have experience in another profession that supports the needs of business and are looking for an opportunity to add value from a different perspective. You have well developed analytical, and relationship management skills and look forward to developing them further in this role.

Élaborer et gérer de façon proactive un pipeline de ventes composé de diverses occasions liées aux services bancaires aux entreprises.

Engagement communautaire – Faire connaître la marque CIBC dans votre collectivité en participant à des activités locales et en prenant part à des activités de marketing et de prise de contact. Vos attributs
Vous pouvez démontrer votre expérience dans le domaine des services bancaires aux entreprises. Vous avez au moins deux ans d’expérience dans le domaine des services bancaires aux PME ou aux entreprises. Vous avez une solide connaissance des produits et services de crédit, de gestion de trésorerie ainsi que des flux de trésorerie et de l’analyse financière des entreprises afin d’évaluer et de saisir de nouvelles occasions d’affaires potentielles. Vous avez également un réseau établi dans le monde des affaires local.
