- Participates in strategic planning and accreditation activities.

- Works with the Quality & Clinical Practice Consultant in identifying and addressing learning needs, including P&P review.
- Works on call as needed (telephone consultation).
- Holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychiatric Nursing (BSPN) or related health discipline (Masters degree preferred).
- Current registration with the BCCNM.
- Has a minimum of five (5) years management experience involving the supervision of a multidisciplinary team of staff, budgetary responsibilities and quality management process.

- Can effectively multi-task, manage time effectively and prioritize work.
- Has a strong ability to plan, direct, evaluate and control the delivery of multi-faceted care services within a social model framework.

What we offer you
Compensation: $99,465.60 - $117,374.40 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

PRIORTIES

- Provide expertise on high-risk cases, including risk assessment and crisis intervention, as requested by staff.
- Monitor client intakes into the program to ensure every client has been provided with a high level of clinical service from the team.
- Determine the training and professional development needs of the team and develop/update program curriculum and tools for programs with team consultation.
- Support the implementation of the program’s strategic plans, direct and monitor clinical activities so that strategic goals and approved budgets are met.
- Ensure the clinical teams understanding of all clinical and administrative procedures and determine where the policies, procedures and protocols require updates or adjustments to ensure best practices are being adhered to.
- Respect the agency to maintain and strengthen collaborative relationships with community partners on various projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Facilitate and support scheduling, audits, performance management and quality monitoring of services.
- Maintain a high level of clinical competence, participate in professional/program development, clinical training opportunities and staff training.
- Stay informed about CRPO, OCSWSSW and other regulations and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.

Requirements
TALENTS & EXPERTISE
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a relevant field. A Master's degree is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on clinical treatment experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR and CPI certificate.
- Registration with the OCSWSSW or the CRPO.
- Supervisory experience in a Not-for-profit, unionized environment is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to lead by example, engage and mentor staff, and guide teams toward successful project completion and goal achievement with humility and efficiency.

PeaceHealth St. Joseph's Medical Center in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Clinical Social Worker for a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Night position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $45.14 - $67.70. **Job Summary**
The Clinical Social Worker coordinates the development and implementation of a patient care/treatment plan through use of diagnosis and clinical assessment of psychiatric, chemical dependency and psychosocial needs as they relate to medical and behavioral care needs. Provides disposition and discharge planning, risk assessment, case management, and coordination of services to provide continuity of care.
**What you will do:**
+ The Clinical Social Worker completes appropriate intake documentation, provides ongoing assessment, develops treatment plan in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary treatment team. The Clinical Social Worker also manages multiple complicated cases, maintains current knowledge of ever-changing community resources, monitors patient needs and progress, develops aftercare plans. Maintains documentation on patient throughout hospitalization.
+ Provides brief therapeutic interventions with patients and/or families, as well as community staffings, in coordination with the physician and treatment team. Works as in integral member of the treatment team in the provision of treatment and aftercare planning.
+ Ensures compliance with privacy and confidentiality laws. Interfaces regularly with legal entities to address treatment needs.
+ Assists with monitoring and evaluation of services provided for department quality improvement plan.
+ Maintains current understanding of issues related to culture, ethnicity, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, religion and utilizes appropriate communication skills.
+ Provides information, education and direction in response to community requests.
+ Regularly accesses pharmaceutical and community resources to provide patients with needed psychiatric medications.
+ Provides instruction, training and supervision for graduate level social work students. Also provides clinical supervision toward licensure for CSWA's. Must maintain current licensure through continuing education. Must uphold all ethics, rules and regulations required by the Clinical Board.
+ Diagnoses, assesses and addresses both mental health and chemical dependency conditions. Performs risk assessments for suicidality, homicidality and grave disability.
+ Provides instruction, training and supervision for graduate level social work students. Also provides clinical supervision toward licensure for CSWA's. Must maintain current licensure through continuing education. Must uphold all ethics, rules and regulations required by the Clinical Board.

+ 2 years Required: Clinical experience with designated population and

+ Preferred: Knowledge of community resources, knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and insurance requirements as these relate to continuing care.

5. Identify, plan and arrange for appropriate services applying a knowledge of services available in the community, state, and federal health regulations and admission, discharge and appropriate level of care. Coordinate effective planning and arranging for needed services upon discharge.
6. Intervene by arranging services, education and providing psychosocial support to prepare the patient and their family to manage their healthcare needs within the acute care setting and post discharge.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
