A growing, community-based organization that provides residential and outreach support for homeless individuals in Peel Region. They are a leading organization recognized in the community for its commitment to providing youth in need with a safe environment and access to services to help them achieve independence and foster growth.
MISSION
Reporting to the Director of Client Services and Wellness, the Clinical Manager will support youth by providing direct supervision to Mental Health, Addiction and Harm Reduction Services. The Clinical Manager is responsible for supporting staff with daily technical expertise and clinical assistance throughout the continuum of care, managing prevention, intervention, and after-care supports, with an emphasis on supportive counselling and case management. Using a client-centred approach and the Housing First for Youth philosophy, the incumbent will lead and inspire youth towards positive change.
The Pod Group is partnering with this organization in search of a highly passionate, hands-on, and strategic candidate to fulfill the role of the Clinical Manager.
PRIORITIES
- Manage clinical and addiction services for youth seeking services and support.
- Supervise, coach, and support staff delivering mental health and harm reduction interventions with reinforcement from a strengths-based perspective, youth-driven care, and shared decision-making practices with youth.
- Provide technical training and clinical expertise to enhance staff competency and crisis intervention capacity in evidence-informed client assessment tools, risk mitigation strategies, safety planning, and counselling supports.
- Develop, enhance and implement policies and practices that align with the recovery model, developing competencies in mental health and addictions, evidence-based counselling methodologies (cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)), motivational interviewing, strength-based counselling, solution-focused approaches, and just-in-time interventions in supporting youth.
- Support the referral and intake process, ensuring proper documentation and files are maintained and up to date for each youth.
- Build community connections and coordinate with service providers for further referrals to promote a continuum and holistic approach to care.
- Assist in increasing the availability and effectiveness of interventions for youth by using Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles.
- Operationalize flexibility and access as the primary goals of interventions and continuously find ways to advocate, navigate, and eliminate barriers to rapid access to youth support and services related to their wellbeing, mental health, and addictions.
- Provide crisis stabilization and consultation for escalated complex cases with the coordination of wraparound support for youth in crisis.
- Participate on committees and task forces as required with other agencies addressing issues facing youth.
- Ensure that professional standards are maintained as related to client documentation and case management.
- Promote a low-barrier approach to youth support and facilitate access to services.
- Create a safe and secure setting for all youth accessing services at the emergency shelter and transitional program.
- Foster and model the importance of connection and belonging in building a positive and supportive work environment, using decolonized and anti-racist frameworks, to all staff.
- All other duties as required in the successful management of shelter operations while partnering with all stakeholders in support of organizational success.
Requirements
TALENTS & EXPERTISE
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field. Master's degree in a relative field is considered an asset.
- Registered with the College of Social Work or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario in good standing.
- A post-graduate certificate in mental health and addictions is considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a supervisor/manager in the social service sector, preferably with individuals with complex mental health, serious mental illness, and substance use. Youth specific experience is preferred.
- A leader with excellent communication, presentation, organization and interpersonal skills with a passion for supporting the most vulnerable and marginalized youth in our community.
- Knowledge of resources and supports for youth and exposure to Region of Peel resources.
- Experience addressing the needs of homeless clients, including making referrals to community agencies.
- Cultural competency sensitivity and commitment to working through an EDIB, anti-oppressive, anti-racism framework.
- Flexibility to work in a 24-hour, 7 days a week operation, while supporting an on-call rotation.
- A valid Ontario’s full G Driver’s Licence is required, with a clean driver’s abstract. A $2,000,000 minimum liability car insurance coverage is also mandatory.
- Valid CPI and/or UMAB and First Aid/ CPR certifications.
- Completion of a successful Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check will be a condition of employment.

The Clinical Trial Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of assigned clinical trials, including planning, execution, and coordination of trial activities. This role leads trial teams, manages communications across stakeholders, ensures timely start-up and conduct of clinical activities, monitors trial progress and quality, manages budgets, supports recruitment and retention plans, supervises clinical supplies, and maintains audit and inspection readiness.
**What you will be doing:**
+ Overall project management of assigned clinical trials
+ Responsible for deliverables and high-quality execution of clinical trials
+ Leading the trial teams
+ Planning, executing, coordinating tasks and communication between relevant roles, such as CTAs and CRAs in adjacent affiliates and global trial management, to facilitate the progress of the trial
+ Attending all trial related meetings/TCs and ensuring knowledge sharing across the trial team
+ Proactive risk identification and executing mitigation plans
+ Ensuring successful start-up of clinical activities (all trial related documents review, CTA dossier oversight, ensure timely HA/EC submission/approval, ensure materials for site initiation/selection, e.g. preparing presentations)
+ Responsible for trial budgets: preparation and tracking
+ Execute and follow up on Recruitment and Retention plans
+ Perform Visit Report review (all types of visits)
+ Conduct co-monitoring visits
+ CTMS set-up & update at the country level
+ Supervise clinical supplies' processes, e.g. ordering, handling ancillary, import-export process
+ Report timely on quality issues
+ Audit readiness, audit action plans and follow up for assigned clinical trials
+ Inspection readiness and inspection action plan for assigned clinical trials
**Your Profile:**
+ BA/BS/BSc or RN, with Master level education preferred
+ Fluency in English - written and spoken
+ Level of experience:
+ Level 1: Minimum 3 years of experience in operational aspects of planning and conducting clinical trials
+ Level 2: Minimum 5 years of experience in operational aspects of planning and conducting clinical trials. Minimum 1 year (preferably 2 years) of experience in project management of clinical trials at regional level (e.g. multi country set-up)
+ Level 3: Minimum 7 years of experience in operational aspects of planning and conducting clinical trials. Minimum 4 years of experience in project management of clinical trials at regional level (e.g. multi country-set up.
+ Working knowledge of International Conference on Harmonization (ICH), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and application international regulations and guidelines
+ Clinical Development process and procedures
+ Project planning experience including oversight of study deliverables, budgets and timelines
+ Ability to apply scientific and clinical knowledge to clinical research
+ Experience anticipating and resolving problems
+ Experience writing and presenting clearly on scientific clinical issues
+ Experience collaborating and leading cross-functional teams (team/matrix environment)
+ Knowledge of project risk management assessment and mitigation approaches

Syreons Clinical Project Management Division is looking for a Clinical Project Manager (CPM) to join our multi-disciplinary unit in the ongoing support of cutting-edge research projects. The CPM will work cohesively with all internal departments and external clients, such as Study Sponsors, Monitors, Investigators, Site Coordinators, Scientific Advisory Committee, Central Ethics Boards, QA, and third-party vendors to facilitate a wide range of project activities.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience with the development, implementation, and ongoing management of research studies. The CPM is responsible for providing ongoing direction to the internal study team during all phases of the study from development to close-out.

We combine elite biomedical sciences, advanced technologies, and global clinical trial networks to speed the evaluation of new drugs, diagnostics and medical devices and guide their safe, effective, and cost-efficient clinical use. In this role, you will:
Manage the study team to ensure all deliverables are met via project team meetings and ad hoc discussions
Be the primary point of contact for the Study Sponsor and lead study teleconferences
Develop study documents including Project Plans and Risk Management Plans
Review study documents from other departments such as CRFs, Data Management Plan, Data Validation Document, CRF Completion Guidelines, Safety Management Plan, Statistical Analysis Plan, Clinical Study Report
Review study protocols, informed consent templates and prepares Central Ethics Boards submissions and resubmissions as required
Planning, coordination, and presentation at Investigators Meeting(s)
Set-up, collect, and maintain Trial Master Files
Set-up and distribution of Site Investigator Binders
Recruits, trains, and provides ongoing support to participating sites, study monitors, Sponsors, and third-party vendors
Development and execution of Site Recruitment strategies
Review of monthly study pass-thru account statements and study budgets to ensure adherence to budget
Reviews study database and processes in collaboration with data management team, as required
To be successful in this role, you likely have:
BSc in life sciences or medically related field, preferably OR five to eight years of industry experience within life sciences; or a minimum of five years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
Excellent Clinical Research/Clinical Trials knowledge
Excellent knowledge and understanding of ICH/GCP/FDA and Health Canada Regulations
Strong written and verbal communication sills, and strong presentation skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to prioritize, and work with speed and accuracy
Excellent competency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, analytical techniques, and database applications
