We are seeking a highly motivated **Senior Cloud Architect** to work with our cloud product team in Fredericton Canada. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of cloud-native chart production tools for hydrographic offices worldwide. This role is key to our mission of reducing the turnaround time from the collection of geospatial data collection to the creation of actionable information. You will be working in close collaboration with clients using AWS and Azure services.

+ Architect and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions
+ Design and deploy automated data workflows and ingestion pipelines

**What you need:**

+ Drive strategy and architecture for a highly available, secure and scalable cloud infrastructure -- including networking, security, performance, automation, monitoring tools, and cost optimization
+ Collaborate with other CloudOps teams, and Engineering on roadmap and execution
+ Partner with InfoSec team to implement the best security practices
+ Recommend single vs multi-cloud strategies, and lead migrations as needed
+ Research, evaluate, recommend and implement next-generation technologies as needed
+ Represent Intelex (and CloudOps team) in technical meetings with customers, partners & auditors
**Key Requirements:**
+ 7+ years in technical operations teams (CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering) deploying and supporting highly available SaaS/production platforms
+ 5+ years of hands-on Linux/Unix/Windows System Administration including OS installation/ hardening/patching, networking, firewalls, load balancers, SSH, mail and DNS
+ 2+ years of experience as an AWS cloud architect, Azure is bonus
+ Strong hands-on automation (CI/CD pipelines) experience - GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins
+ Strong Terraform knowledge with a focus in module creation, best practices with security checks, and automated module adjustments using CI actions
+ Great scripting experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell
+ Deep understanding of microservices architecture and containerization, including experience with Azure AKS, AWS ECS and EKS
+ Solid experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Architect to join our team. The AWS Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions in AWS and Azure, ensuring alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Design, architect, and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions following AWS Well-Architected Framework standards.
+ Serve as a technical lead, providing hands-on expertise to guide and mentor engineering and DevOps teams in building and deploying cloud infrastructure.
