We are seeking a hands-on, highly skilled, passionate and self-motivated **Senior Cloud Architect** to help lead Intelex's public cloud evolution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public cloud (preferably AWS and Azure) technologies, excellent automation skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and great communication skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Drive strategy and architecture for a highly available, secure and scalable cloud infrastructure -- including networking, security, performance, automation, monitoring tools, and cost optimization
+ Collaborate with other CloudOps teams, and Engineering on roadmap and execution
+ Partner with InfoSec team to implement the best security practices
+ Recommend single vs multi-cloud strategies, and lead migrations as needed
+ Research, evaluate, recommend and implement next-generation technologies as needed
+ Represent Intelex (and CloudOps team) in technical meetings with customers, partners & auditors
**Key Requirements:**
+ 7+ years in technical operations teams (CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering) deploying and supporting highly available SaaS/production platforms
+ 5+ years of hands-on Linux/Unix/Windows System Administration including OS installation/ hardening/patching, networking, firewalls, load balancers, SSH, mail and DNS
+ 2+ years of experience as an AWS cloud architect, Azure is bonus
+ Strong hands-on automation (CI/CD pipelines) experience - GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins
+ Strong Terraform knowledge with a focus in module creation, best practices with security checks, and automated module adjustments using CI actions
+ Great scripting experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell
+ Deep understanding of microservices architecture and containerization, including experience with Azure AKS, AWS ECS and EKS
+ Solid experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle
+ Experience deploying, configuring and using monitoring tools (New Relic, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)
+ Good presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with CTOs, Enterprise/Solutions Architects, senior management, and engineering staff
+ B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
+ AWS Solutions Architect certification, preferably Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Architect to join our team. The AWS Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions in AWS and Azure, ensuring alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices. This role will involve hands-on technical leadership, deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), modern DevOps pipeline integration, and coordinating deployments across multiple application layers and external validation teams. The primary objective is to drive the secure transition of business-critical applications to a robust, secure, and compliant cloud environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Design, architect, and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions following AWS Well-Architected Framework standards.
+ Serve as a technical lead, providing hands-on expertise to guide and mentor engineering and DevOps teams in building and deploying cloud infrastructure.
+ Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts primarily using Terraform.
+ Design and implement robust DevOps pipelines to enable Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
+ Collaborate closely with software development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of application changes through multiple SDLC environments.

+ Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
+ Hands-on experience deploying applications across multiple layers (dev QA staging prod) collaborating with external teams for validation testing.
+ Excellent understanding of cloud security best practices experiences transitioning legacy environments into secure cloud architectures.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical strategies solutions to stakeholders cross-functional teams.
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
+ Five-year technical degree (I.E. bachelors) or equivalent experience required. In such fields such as engineering science computer engineering etc. preferred.
+ 5+ years related experience and/or training required.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing supporting AWS infrastructure services
Preferred Qualifications:
+ AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification.
+ Experience with container orchestration platforms (EKS ECS Kubernetes).
+ Familiarity with application monitoring observability logging tools (CloudWatch LogicMonitor).
+ Experience working within regulated industries, ensuring compliance with security requirements and SOC 2 standards.
+ Experience with Azure is a plus.
