The role requires a deep understanding of MPD methodologies, downhole dynamics, and the ability to develop analytical tools to optimize drilling

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION
Minimum of bachelors degree in petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Recently Graduated with +1 year MPD experience.
Has E.I.T. certification or ability to obtain E.I.T certification.
Shift work will be required, hybrid work from home and Opla's ROC office.
Willing to travel as required. Occasional travel to remote locations or outside of the country may be required.
Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting.
Experience working with real-time drilling data, machine learning algorithms, and IoT applications.
Familiarity with drilling hydraulics, pressure control, and wellbore stability.
Hands-on experience with MPD software, surface control systems, and well control methodologies.
Good communication, interpersonal & leadership skills.
Willingness to learn and ability to work well within a collaborative team.
Must be able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced and highly energetic environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly motivated with the ability to prioritize workloads.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply)
Manage all aspects of project preparation, proposals, and programs for MPD wells.
Responsible for the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and reports on complex MPD topics and
projects.
Active role in assisting R&D team with development of proprietary software.
Active role in assisting sales groups with client meetings, presentations, and technical support.
Providing remote and on-site support to Opla personnel and clients.
Must understand and comply with all the safety rules and company policies of Opla.
Provide 24/7 engineering support for all ongoing operations.
Design, implement, and optimize MPD strategies for various drilling operations.
Develop and deploy Python-based data analysis tools for real-time drilling data monitoring and decision-making.
Analyze surface and downhole data to provide insights into wellbore pressure, flow rates, and drilling
performance.
Collaborate with drilling teams to improve MPD workflows, automation processes, and predictive modeling.
Ensure compliance with HSE and regulatory standards in all MPD operations.
Support remote operations and assist in troubleshooting MPD systems.
Provide technical support for MPD software and contribute to its enhancement

Our Team
Our Data Analysts utilize 3D data visualization software and human-in-the-loop machine learning processes to meticulously analyze ultrasound datasets. What You Will Do
- Learn the delivery standards and workflow processes for your assigned ILI product line
- Regularly check in with team members to assess capacity and remove roadblocks or inefficiencies
- Through frequent 1:1 meetings, track team members' progression in their role, deliver constructive feedback, and ensure they receive proper recognition for their work while building a roadmap for their career development
- Facilitate communication between your team and other teams and upper management
- Ensure employees are aligned with the company vision, and that the goals and direction of the team help drive achievement of the vision
- Facilitate the improvement of workflow procedures and best practices; seek out new solutions, seek feedback, and investigate and implement improvement opportunities
- Review projects assigned to Analysts on your team; you are responsible for the content and delivery of projects
- Partner with Recruiting and other Team Leads to recruit and evaluate candidates; a high volume of growth and hiring is expected
- Make informed recommendations for hiring, raises/promotions, performance management, and further training
- Develop new and improve existing processes and standards
- Set project deadlines, assign project leads, and manage follow-up requests
- Forecast team capacity vs. projected projects, offering transparency to stakeholders
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- At least 2 years of engineering or science study at university, college, or technical school
- Experience managing a team producing client deliverables (e.g. reports, analysis)
- Experience managing early to mid-career individuals
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry (e.g. ILI, pipeline or piping integrity, NDE/NDT, well integrity, well logging) or industrial asset inspection services
- Experience managing teams with at least 5 team members
- Experience in rapidly scaling an operation or team
- Able to disseminate complex information and generate pragmatic solutions
- Able to assess and adjust work processes to meet scaling requirements; delegate and prioritize work effectively among the team
For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $110,000 CAD per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

The Data Quality Administrator will work closely with the Manager, Agency Licensing to help identify and clean data in the Licensing Management System (Accela) prior to migrating to the new platform. Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve data issues such as duplicates, inaccuracies, missing values, and inconsistencies

Position Summary
Miovision’s traffic studies are used by engineers and transportation professionals globally to make important decisions about their transportation system. The Data Quality Assurance Administrator (DQAA) plays a critical role in ensuring that traffic studies are configured accurately to meet customer specifications before being processed.
