**Senior Cloud Engineer**
**Location:** This position is available as a hybrid or fully remote role based in Canada.
Bentley Systems is seeking a **Senior Cloud Engineer** to become a valued member of the **Bentley Cloud Services Management** (BCSM) team. The BCSM team is responsible for provisioning and maintenance of the Cloud infrastructure. The BCSM team provides Cloud infrastructure design and development for industry-leading Bentley users around the world. Bentley's partnership with Microsoft and Google cloud providers allows early access to cutting-edge technologies and hands-on engagements with experts.
This role is responsible for the automation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud-based services, release infrastructure, and tooling with a particular emphasis on DevOps automation principles. The role includes infrastructure and tooling automation architecture, development, service provisioning, as well as maintenance and monitoring. Some out-of-hours work will be required to respond to urgent issues to ensure business continuity for our users.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage, implement, and improve release automation (CI/CD Infrastructure) and tooling through Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise, scripting, developing tools, and proprietary systems.
+ Automate cloud-based deployments, resource provisioning, and other cloud infrastructure-related tasks.
+ Support, advise, and troubleshoot with development teams performing builds and releases.
+ Dive deep into availability, performance, and outages for infrastructure and systems, and provide technical leadership for proactive resolutions.
+ Perform cloud service production deployments.
+ Continuous research and development on Cloud technologies.
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 3 years' experience with Cloud Services development, deployment, and/or IT Cloud infrastructure set up and maintenance.
+ Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Azure Cloud or AWS is a plus).
+ Great scripting and development skills (PowerShell or Bash) with the desire to learn advanced scripting techniques.
+ Knowledge of AD and DNS, IIS, and networking.
+ Experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, YAML) or GitHub Enterprise (Git, Actions).
+ Experience with infrastructure backup and recovery in cloud environments.
+ Experience with Azure Resource Manager templates for infrastructure deployment into Azure is a plus.
+ Good knowledge of SQL server setup, SQL statements/scripts, and troubleshooting or other non-SQL databases.
+ Ability to document architectural designs along with operational processes and procedures to support ongoing administration of cloud systems.
+ Willingness to learn and become an expert at a wide array of cloud-based technologies in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

Rumble is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in OpenStack to lead the deployment, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing, deploying, and optimizing our OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure. This position requires a strong background in Linux systems, networking (OVS/OVN), automation (Kolla Ansible), and programming (Python). This role is primarily focused on our OpenStack infrastructure, but the ideal candidate would also be able to work across other products and projects as needed. Strong knowledge in Kubernetes would be a major plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain OpenStack environments (production and development).
