We're looking for a motivated, quality-driven Commercial Cleaner to join our team at the Military Base in Kingston. In this role, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level. Day shifts are currently available.
Hourly Rate: $18/ hour
Your work will include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing of medical facilities, offices, classrooms, washrooms, conference rooms, hallways and fitness areas
- Respond to emergency calls with the use of a communication radio or pager.
- Report occurrences and deficiencies to management
- Dusting, performed at floor level, and all furniture as required
- Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills
- Cleans and polishes chrome and other polished metal surfaces
- Cleans and disinfects washroom fixtures using mild chemicals
- Damp mops small area hard surface floors
- Attend all required health & safety training and use required PPE where indicated
Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Commercial cleaning experience is not required, but is an asset
- In order to work on the military base, a fingerprint security clearance is required
- A clear criminal record check is required for this role
- You must also have 2 pieces of government issued id, one of which has a photo
