Starting Base Salary: $60,700/year + commissions 

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Commercial Account Representative is responsible for furnace oil, diesel, gasoline, lubricant and cardlock sales covering the PEI & Moncton area.   • Keeps up-to-date and maintains understanding of oil and propane codes, transportation tank regulations, federal and provincial guidelines for tank and petroleum storage and the company safety regulation.
  • Performs various administrative duties including preparing expense and commission reports using Excel.
  • Willingness to travel with some overnights required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, bilingual an asset
  • Formal sales training, either on the job or formal courses
  • Industry and product specific knowledge of distillate fuel and propane an asset
  • Results oriented, good attitude to prospect and identify opportunities for success
  • Experience providing excellent customer service required

  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of the Department of Transportation tank regulations, federal and provincial guidelines for tank and petroleum storage, and the safety manual for tanks, furnaces, and workplace safety
  • Organizes work activities by following a set of procedures for gaining new business including hit lists, cold calls, and the sales report; conducts customer visits on a quarterly basis; ensures processes are followed to achieve goals for both existing and new business
  • Liaises with the various parties including the Sales Manager to discuss updated sales opportunities, other Account/Sales Representatives to maintain a positive working relationship, share ideas, and ask questions, the Credit department to discuss customer credit terms, the Sales Coordinator to discuss spreadsheet updates and sales information, Dispatchers to ensure fills are being delivered, and the Marketing department to discuss opportunities or ideas to attract and retain customers

Daily Activities
Cold calling and prospecting to generate leads
Develop sales presentations for presentation to prospects
Ensure on-site presence for all site deliveries ensuring schedules are being met.
Resolve any customer issues and customer complaints developing solutions and making recommendations to management
Work in liason with commercial sales customer care team to deliver exceptional client experience to our customers both B2B commercial customer and individual.
New business development in harmony with divisional goals and KPIu2019s

The
Outside Sales Associate , reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, will play an active role in selling and developing accounts within the B2B Commercial sales team. You will achieve their sales objectives through effective planning, goal setting, cold calling, prospecting, developing quotes, presenting, closing builder/new home construction accounts. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this successful candidate will also help deliver sales through other developing trade channels for major appliances, and home furnishing/electronics.

Drive B2B commercial market share growth with a focus on premium and luxury premium appliance, electronics, home furnishings etc.
Meet targets, performance plans, in cooperation with the Commercial Sales Manager
Meet with Regional Commercial Sales Manager one-on-one, to review performance, progress, and targets. (Weekly)
Utilize Saleforce as the central CRM system to manage leads and develop quotes
