Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
• Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on delivery vehicles when necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred; experience in commercial driving is a plus.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform minor automotive repairs.
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.

• Greet and communicate with customers in a friendly manner
• Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring that merchandise is properly selected

The Delivery Driver is responsible for loading and unloading the delivery vehicle (Class G or 5) and delivering tires (light vehicle, tires weighting up to 70 lbs) directly to customers within the prescribed timeframe.

Temporary Contract

Salary: 21.22$/h

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload delivery trucks;
• Drive 16-foot pickup truck safely;
• Complete shipping documents;

Success Factors:

• Possess a valid Class G or Class 5 driver's license and have experience driving 16-foot trucks;

Vibrant Life is seeking a reliable, dependable & professional delivery driver to pick up and drop off our weekly customer meal orders.

About the Role

• 10$flat rate per delivery.
• Currently our deliveries take approx. 2 hours on Sundays & 1 hour on Mondays.

You will:

• pick up customer orders every Sunday at 230pm and deliver approx. 10 deliveries in sequence.
• pick up customer orders every Monday at 845am and deliver approx. 4 deliveries in sequence.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Picking up and dropping off our weekly customer orders on Sunday afternoons & Monday Mornings.
