Job Description

Job Description

Are you passionate about making a real difference in K–12 education? Do you love solving problems, building authentic relationships, and using data to make smarter marketing decisions? If you're someone who thrives in a small, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys both strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves, we want to hear from you.

At Wipebook , we make reusable whiteboard tools that help students and professionals think more clearly, collaborate better, and work through complex problems. Since our early days on Dragon’s Den and one of Canada's most successful Kickstarter campaigns, we’ve grown significantly—especially in the K–12 space—and we’re just getting started.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Growth Manager to take ownership of our marketing strategy and execution. This isn’t a siloed or purely managerial role—you’ll be deeply involved in everything from setting up the right marketing tech stack, to analyzing funnel metrics, to chatting with school board leaders at conferences.

You’ll oversee a small, growing team, lead projects end-to-end, and help us strengthen our presence in the education community. If you enjoy working closely with a small, passionate team where your ideas are implemented quickly and your work has a visible impact, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and execute full-funnel marketing strategies to grow our customer base and deepen our reach in K–12 education.

  • Manage and support a small internal marketing team, helping to prioritize work, solve problems, and drive results.

  • Design, optimize, and maintain our marketing tech stack—including CRM systems, automation tools, lead tracking, and analytics platforms.

  • Use tools like Google Analytics, BigQuery, and other data sources to analyze funnel performance, identify marketing/sales bottlenecks, and improve conversion rates.

  • Collaborate with leadership to evolve our sales strategy, generate qualified leads, and build a sales team.

  • Oversee and optimize digital marketing channels, including email, paid social, content marketing, SEO, and web performance—with a focus on measurable impact.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing roles, ideally with a mix of B2B and B2C.
  • Strong experience marketing to educators or within the K–12 education sector .
  • A proven track record using data and analytics to drive decisions , improve funnels, and measure ROI.
  • Hands-on experience setting up or managing a marketing technology stack (e.g. CRM, automation, analytics, lead tracking).
  • Comfortable being the primary marketing lead in a lean organization—wearing multiple hats, learning on the fly, and driving initiatives forward.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to speak at events and represent our brand publicly.
  • A natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people and creating meaningful partnerships.
  • Willingness and availability to travel within Canada and the U.S. for events and conferences throughout the year.

Why You’ll Love Working at Wipebook

  • Salary : $95,000–$120,000 (bonus tied to performance)
  • Remote-first and flexible : Work from anywhere in Canada, on your schedule with some occasional in person events
  • Impact : Your work will directly influence how thousands of educators and students learn and problem-solve
  • Growth potential : Opportunity to grow into a more senior leadership role as we scale
  • Benefits : Health and dental coverage, paid vacation, and a team that values what you bring to the table

If you're a strategic doer, a relationship builder, and a data-driven marketer who cares about education—we’d love to hear from you.

  • You have a growth mindset and can process feedback with a professional attitude, understanding that even experts have room for improvement.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving growth for a B2B software brand across multiple channels
  • Proven ability to establish and grow multiple business partnerships
  • A high level of proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMRush/Ahrefs/Moz and Google Analytics
  • A strong understanding of the WordPress ecosystem and how Uncanny Owl plugins fit into it
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong references from verifiable sources

Bonus points if you have experience with any of our plugins, LearnDash or integration tools (e.g. Zapier, Integromat, IFTTT, etc.).

This job is a full time (35 hour weekly) position. While hours are somewhat flexible, most should be worked when the rest of our team is online (between 9 AM and 4 PM Eastern Time).

Our team is based in Toronto but everyone works remotely. Candidates in Canada are preferred, but we are happy to consider people in other locations with the right skill set.

What we offer

Working for a fast-growing bootstrapped company is a rare opportunity, one we consider a lifestyle choice rather than a job choice. Our positions are challenging, but also come with amazing advantages and fulfillment to those who earn them. Here’s what we offer.

  • Competitive Salary.
  • Health expense benefits for full-time Canadian employees.
  • Work from your home. We’re spread out all over the world!
  • By supporting Uncanny Automator you get the opportunity to deep-dive into the entire WordPress plugin ecosystem and beyond, instead of being confined to a single WordPress plugin.
  • We cover all costs of company travel (including our annual all-company retreat).
  • Ability to work with some of the best people in the business through frequent, if not daily, interactions.

If all of this sounds interesting, then please submit your application!

The ability to communicate in a clear and friendly manner is essential to this position. We won’t be able to individually respond to all applications, but if we feel you’re a strong match, someone will be in touch shortly. Thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Job Description

ABOUT US

Localcoin, founded in 2017 with headquarters in Toronto, is on a mission to simplify the process and experience of buying or selling digital currencies across Canada. We envision bringing digital currency to the mainstream financial market through partnerships with leading corporate and franchised retail spaces. With terminals across Canada and Australia, Localcoin is now the largest Bitcoin ATM provider in the nation. At its core, Localcoin believes that everyone should be able to own cryptocurrency and have a deep understanding of blockchain technology. As a member of our rapidly growing team, you'll join a talented, dynamic group of team members who will encourage you to learn, grow and thrive in your career every step of the way. If you're a self-starter looking to hone your skills in a startup environment that fosters innovation, transparency and team connectivity, we look forward to hearing from you!

THE ROLE

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you'll lead SEM and digital marketing initiatives, analyze campaign data, and work with teams to launch new products . You'll manage online marketing strategies across multiple verticals and markets, including Google Ads, and ensure optimal use of digital advertising platforms. This role requires a blend of technical skills and analytics, with a creative and data-driven approach. Experience in digital marketing or agency settings is beneficial. The role offers a competitive salary, health benefits, a hybrid work environment, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative team culture. This position will be based out of our office in Etobicoke, ON, and will have a hybrid work schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

● Find the growth levers – Dig into funnel data, market trends, and customer behavior to figure out where the real opportunities are.

● Test, learn, scale – Build experiments across ads, landing pages, and offline marketing assets. Double down on what works, optimize what doesn't.

● Run multi-channel campaigns – Own execution across paid search, social, SEO, affiliate, offline, and content. Make them work together, not in silos.

● Optimize with numbers – Track CAC, LTV, conversion, coupon resumption. Pull insights, act fast, and keep improving.

● Work cross-functionally – Align with Product, Engineering, Sales, and operations so growth isn't just a marketing silo—it's baked into the roadmap.

● Spot what's next – Always testing new channels and tactics—AI tools, influencer loops, automation—pilot first, then scale.

● Own reporting – Build dashboards, share what matters, and communicate results like an operator, not just a marketer.

● Stay sharp – Be the one who already knows what's changed in-platform, what tool is worth testing, and what trend is actually worth chasing.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

● Proven growth track record – Has actually driven acquisition, conversion, and retention. No theory—real numbers, real scale.
● A/B testing and CRO mastery – Can build a test, run it, read it, and know what to kill or scale. No guesswork.
● Digital marketing acumen – Paid search, social, SEO, influencer—knows what works, what doesn't, and why.
● Regulatory agility – Can navigate the minefield that is crypto and finance ad compliance. Doesn't need handholding.
● Data-first decision-maker – Every move backed by data. Hypotheses, experiments, results, iteration.
● Lifelong learner – Stays ahead of platform changes, new channels, AI trends—because they want to, not because they have to.
● Creative-meets-analytical mindset – Can come up with the big idea and prove it works. Knows how to balance brand and performance.
● Sharp attention to detail – Nothing gets missed. Not in copy, targeting, UTMs, or reporting. Tight execution, every time.

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT US

● Competitive Salary & Benefits – We value and reward our team members.
● Hybrid Work Environment – Enjoy flexibility while being part of a dynamic team.
● Professional Development – Opportunities for learning and growth.
● Team Culture & Events – Regular socials, team meetings, and collaborative workspaces.
● Impactful Work – Play a key role in a growing company and make a real difference.

Localcoin is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives and skills. The more inclusive and diverse we are, the more our work will improve. If you're determined and great at what you do, come as you are. If you require accommodation at any stage throughout the recruitment process, please notify your talent team or send an email to
