* Filing of BOLs, Sanitation Records, transfer orders, pre-shift inspection record, drivers access controls and container switch files.
* Perform other assigned duties.

What is the project?
The Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment program involves designing and building a new deep-water intake in Lake Ontario to improve the plant's cooling system. This will involve:
- A5 km-long tunnel, built by a pressurized TBM (10.15 m diameter slurry TBM);
- Two vertical shafts (onshore and offshore);
- An offshore modular intake structure, resting on the lake bed.
The project is distinguished by its proximity to an active nuclear site, requiring rigorous standards of safety, planning and coordination.
What you will do:
Develop document management process, lead and manage document control team, procedures and information management systems in support of the Design and Construction, among other departments.
Beyond implementing and managing the EDMS, this role will require hands-on and pure doc control activities before managing the document control team.
Concretely, your tasks will be:
- Work in close interface with IT head office persons of JV partners and with supplier of the EDMS.
- Manage the implementation of the document management process, beyond the EDMS, even if participating actively in EDMS parameterization (workflow, codification, architecture, interfaces with Designer, Client.).
- Implement, update and/or improve Engineering document control procedures to meet internal and external compliance requirements.
- Efficiently manage organizational documentation throughout the documents life cycle (Submittals, RFIs, FDCs, Drawings, NCRs).
- Ensure security, accessibility, and distribution of documents working within Document Control team, and closely with Quality Department, Design Managers, Area Disciplines, and Consultants.
- Management of Digital Document Platforms and users access.
- Ensure that internal document controls procedures are established and followed. Enforce document control requirements and rules for standards. Verify files are organized and consistent with naming conventions and project-specific filing structure and document control procedures.
- Distribute electronic and hardcopy documents, submittals, transmittals, and correspondence to defined recipients.
- Compile and maintain control of records and related files to release reports, drawings, and engineering documents to production and other operating departments.
- Examine documents, such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications for general completeness and accuracy of data.
- Confer with document originators or appropriate personnel to resolve discrepancies with documents.
- Post changes to documents, especially construction drawings and related construction documents to maintain the most up-do-date construction documents for use by construction personnel (internal field personnel, client, and lower-tier contractors).
- Assists and works in conjunction with the Document Control Team for the efficient operation and maintenance of the document management system.
Your skills:
- Around 10 years experience in major construction project in position of Doc Control manager, including process development and managing a team.
- Preferable experience in document management software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, Procore, eBuilder, A-Site, InEight.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), Bluebeam, SharePoint and Power BI.
