What Youll Be Responsible For
Reporting to our Senior Manager, Operations and collaborating closely with Project Managers, technical field staff, drafters, engineers, and municipal partners, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating construction activities and schedules with internal and external teams
- Managing documentation, permitting, reporting, and compliance workflows
- Communicating regularly with project managers, field techs, clients, and municipal partners
- Tracking project data, analyzing trends, and contributing to process improvements
- Supporting safety practices, technical standards, and quality expectations
- Visiting job sites 12 times per month for inspections or team collaboration

What We're Looking For
- Telecom Construction Experience: Previous hands-on experience in telecom construction is required. You understand the field environment, construction workflows, and the unique challenges of telecom infrastructure projects.
- Technical Foundation: Technical Diploma or equivalent experience in telecommunications, project management, or a related field.
- Project Experience: Experience in project coordination or telecommunications-related work
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with project management software, GIS Data, Excel, and various data analysis platforms. Experience creating dashboards and project documentation is highly valuable.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical approach to challenges with the ability to implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency and quality.
- Nice to have: Professional certifications like PMP, MBA, P.Eng, P.L., PTech, AScT, CET, or CTech are valued for career advancement.

VC3 is seeking a Project Specialist to join our Project Services Team! They will provide client on-boarding, technical expertise, and support to projects across a wide scope of clients, with an extensive array of technical environments and within our cloud.
This position will allow you to work alongside some of the most talented engineers in the country and afford you the opportunity to grow with an innovative managed services provider that has a 25-year history of providing a full range of IT solutions and is continuing to expand throughout the country.
The Project Specialist will provide a high level of customer service to clients through excellent communication and detailed documentation. They will work with other Project Specialists and Project Managers to deploy equipment and tools, as well as provide technical expertise during the onboarding process. This position will be working remotely and on-site at client locations throughout VC3’s territory of 25+ states.
Here’s what we need from you:
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s in a technology-related degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in any combination of information system design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation; office automation/productivity applications specification, installation, operation, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of current IT concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends
- Strong writing skills; must be able to develop detailed documentation for both the Projects Team and clients
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly
- Must be process driven; follow and develop VC3’s proven processes with an attention to detail
- Must be passionate about technology and delivering the highest level of customer service

These are the technical skills that you will need to have:
- Knowledge of Microsoft server and client operating systems (Server OS: 2012, 2016, and 2019; Client OS: Windows 8 and 10)

- Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016

- Manage and execute personal project portfolio of assigned Building Automation Projects
- Overall responsibility to execute assigned jobs on schedule and on budget

- Create Field Controller Programs and Front-End database generation, create & modify graphics as per BAS Submittals and project specifications

- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC control systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Software (including Visio, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

**What We Are Looking For:**
- Minimum five (5) years of industry related project support experience ideally withing an engineering, construction or other project-based environment, ***is required***

- Firm understanding of project management and project controls principles
