StrategyCorp is growing and is seeking Consultants for its Management Consulting practice in Toronto. Our ideal candidates are up-and-coming consultant professionals that share our passion for delving into complex issues that require strategic thinking, problem solving, and a good understanding of management consulting tools and best practices.

StrategyCorp has a fast-paced environment and we expect a lot from our Consultants – with responsibilities that include conducting deep research and analysis, assisting senior project team members in formulating evidence-based advice for clients, drafting high quality deliverables, and assisting with new business proposal development. With these responsibilities comes an unparalleled opportunity to get exposure to the substance and politics of complex issues and projects that provide outstanding opportunities to grow as a consulting professional. 

To be successful you will need to possess:

  • 2 - 3 years consulting experience servicing public, private and non-profit sector clients in highly regulated or highly scrutinized sectors;
  • Excellent writing with superior attention to detail – particularly taking complex subjects and relaying them in clear and concise ways;
  • Critical and strategic thinking skills, and aptitude for problem solving;
  • Ability to work flexibly, often to tight deadlines;
  • Experience working within project teams to meet client deliverables and timelines;
  • Experienced in collaborating with consulting teams with a mix of skills and experience levels to deliver outstanding client service and product quality;
  • Knowledgeable in working with consulting methodologies and work approaches for addressing client service needs;
  • Experienced in developing substantive and visually appealing client reports and presentations in a variety of media; and,
  • Interest in government/politics an asset.
  • Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Major strategy consulting firm experience is considered an asset.

**About the Role**
As a **Senior Business Analyst** within our **Property & Casualty Insurance** practice, you will play a pivotal role in driving requirements management and solution design for strategic transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights and system capabilities.
**What You'll Do**
+ Lead requirements gathering and documentation for P&C insurance transformation programmes.
+ Collaborate with business and technical teams to define functional specifications and user stories.
+ Analyse and validate business processes, data flows, and system interactions.
+ Support Guidewire product implementations and enhancements (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
+ Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and walkthroughs to elicit and refine requirements.
+ Ensure traceability and alignment of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Provide input into test planning, UAT, and defect triage.
+ Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams to ensure solution integrity.
**What You Must Have to Be Considered**
+ Minimum **8+ years of experience** in business analysis, with a strong focus on **requirements management** .
+ Proven expertise in **Property & Casualty Insurance** domain (mandatory).
+ Experience with **Guidewire products** (preferred).
+ Experience with Rating (preferred)
+ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
**These Will Help You Succeed**
+ Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
+ Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
+ Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

**THE ROLE**
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Banking & Financial Services Consulting team. This role focuses on credit risk, retail banking, and data-driven decision-making, with a strong emphasis on SQL-based analytics and regulatory compliance.
You will lead requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and solution design for initiatives involving credit risk modelling, data integration, and reporting automation. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking environments, particularly in credit risk, lending, or special asset management, and will be comfortable working in Agile/DevOps settings.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications aligned with enterprise architecture.
+ Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit requirements and define business processes.
+ Perform data gap analysis and contribute to data model refinement for credit risk reporting.
+ Develop SQL queries and scripts to support data validation, transformation, and reporting.
+ Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and testing.
+ Support UAT planning, execution, and production rollout.
+ Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
+ Maintain documentation including BRDs, RTMs, and user guides.
**CONSULTING EXCELLENCE**
As a Consulting Manager, you will contribute across Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence:
+ Project Execution - Lead client engagements and manage delivery.
+ Expertise - Maintain domain knowledge in banking and credit risk.
+ Business Development - Support proposal creation and client presentations.
+ Practice Development - Develop reusable assets and service offerings.
+ People Development - Mentor junior consultants and contribute to recruiting.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 8+ years of experience in business analysis within banking or financial services.
+ Strong understanding of credit risk, lending, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel IV, SA-CCR).
+ Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and reporting.
+ Experience with data modelling and ETL processes.
+ Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and SCRUM methodologies.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Experience with tools like Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or similar is a plus.
+ Experience in Capital Markets and understanding of asset classes is an asset
